I was so enthusiastic to fly with him in his last invitation. I wrote on Feb, 19th hoping to see reply from him and being so busy these days I just knew of his pass away.

I didn't know the man personally, but I do have a great appreciation for his work within the DCS community and had a hunch he was a great bloke.

 

I am truly saddened by the news of his parsing, and wish all of his friends and family my condolences.

RIP Blooze

HP G2 Reverb (Needs upgrading), Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate. set to OpenXR, but Open XR tool kit disabled.

DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), DLSS setting is quality at 1.0. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC... Everything needs upgrading in this system!.

Vaicom user and what a superb freebie it is! Virpil Mongoose T50M3 base & Mongoose CM2 Grip (not set for dead stick), Virpil TCS collective with counterbalance kit (woof woof). Virpil Apache Grip (OMG). MFG pedals with damper upgrade. Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height. Simshaker Jet Pro vibration seat.. Uses data from DCS not sound... goodbye VRS.

I flew some missions with Jim "Blooze" and we communicated in Team Speak. He did truly love the A10C. He really enjoyed COOP missions and the Team work.

 

Sad and shocking news. Blooze, you will be missed...Rest in Peace Brother.

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

Very sad news. I had flown with him online and corresponded with him when he was working with Baltic Dragon on The Enemy Within. His website design was brilliant.. We lost a good one.
