I'm pretty sure it was mentioned already in this thread, SweetFX won't work.

Is there a chance we could see what ground targets look like via the A-10c tgt pod. Because as good as this looks if it makes it harder to spot via tgt pod i'm honestly torn on getting it.

Was it already mentioned how much SSD space this will add to the DCS world install (hope I have enough left :( )? Is there an option for this the new textures to overwrite the old one, thereby having less of an impact on SSD capacity compared to having both textures present on the SSD?

came here to ask the same thing, since the thread has already over 35 pages its hard to search for exact infos...

 

it would be great to have a detailed comparison, not just the size of the download. data like: original texture file sizes and resolutions compared to the file sizes and resolutions of this DLC. the complete disk space fingerprint compared to the original size, predicted (or tested) effects on performance, etc.

link above only shows on field textures, not on textures with high noise and other random contrast content. I requested Starway post screenshots with ground units on other locations (not fields) but I haven't seen a response yet.

At this point, I can't tell for sure how much disk space is needed for installation due to the fact that ED is creating the final installation file. My workfile had about 1.7 GB. But it was with all the textures unzipped. Most of the textures have at least doubled dimensions now. This of course takes some space.

 

Regarding performance, as mentioned earlier in this thread, I have no performance hit on my system with this DLC.
