ATC is able to control different patrol in marshall loop above the carrier, and the switch between different « floor » (before ip at 800 ft) ?

Since we are having a fully functional SuperCarrier, any plans to add the C-2 GREYHOUND transport to the AI planes? I think every Carrier has two Greyhounds stationed.

It would not only add immersion, but will lead to mission possibilities, like escorting the transports in & out of the Carrier, whilst the Enemy trying to take them out.

Watched Wags's DCS: Super Carrier Mission Creation Video today Great video:thumbup:

Really looking good so far

I've got a couple of questions though.

So all of the crew have to be placed ?

They don't automatically spawn in when the carrier spawns?

Hold on a second. Where does it say we will have animations for recovery? From what I've read that ain't planned.

They don't automatically spawn in when the carrier spawns?

From what I saw, the deck crew that do all the catapult work are automatically spawned, he just placed a few around the edge for bit of decoration. Be interesting to see how they work with different levels of static placement and during cyclic practices. I can't imagine how hard this must have been to put this all together given all the possible scenarios that are possible with statics, SP, MP, AI. Really looking forward to trying it out!

I have not attempted it yet, but I am curious can static objects be driven by event triggers? Say for instance the carrier is going into recovery mode can the static crew be positioned for such an event?

You can get them to disappear through moose scripting. Making them reappear particularly on a moving carrier is another problem which I don’t think has been solved via scripting.

I use scripting to ‘disappear‘ aircraft parked on the fantail of the Stennis at beginning of missions.

I wasn't talking about an external mod, but something by ED themselves as part of the Super-Carrier module.

I am not interested in external mods, because they tend to break, as this simulator is constantly updated.

Something I noticed in the case I recovery vid, from the ATC communications point of view, 305 as a board number is used the whole time but in the last scene, the external view landing, you’ll see the landing with a 300 board number ????.

Wags caught the 2 wire in 305, another (AI?) caught the 3 wire in 300 :)

Sorry, I am not sure what you mean, we have stated for some time the warbird team has been busy on the P-47, not sure what the shot over our bow is for. Let me know and I will pass on your feedback to the team, thanks.

Plus, lets please keep this thread on topic. Thanks again.

Just PR messaging consistency. The SC release has been a problem and you have a bunch of upset folks (not me really) So the first Video about the SC has the P47 screen, which maybe makes it seem like the SC isn't "top priority" which is what the torches and pitchfork crowd expects. If anything it shoulda been the SC background in the SC video IMO.

I mean I'm sure people know you are working on the P47 and that's a separate team, but still its kind of a keep your eye on the ball kinda (pun intended) thing IMO. :)

In the same video appears a A-10C-2, L-39 MAC (Modern Air Combat), Mi-24P, Mosquito FB, P-47 and 26 modules on module manager DCS develop version used by Wags... SC team has only a little part of 100+ members of DCS and other has working on other modules as the updates on F/A-18C, F-16CM, past modules and surelly future projects not show yet.

I'm upset about a couple of things as well but let's be fair. The background picture in one of the SC tutorial vids really shouldn't matter. And he had to use another background because he wanted to show how to activate the SC wallpaper.

In fact, has similarty at the old Wags Streams or other videos in the past, Matt has always has very open when making your "on house" develop videos (with smash door included :megalol:).

so in order to have fun with the SC, do I have to get the F/A-18C? it won't happen, don't take it the wrong way but never like it, already have the ones that I wanted and some extras that don't, just waiting for the A-7E Corsair ll
