Yes, as also someone else mentioned above, it's probably because ED want's to wrap up some loose ends as preparation for the next bigger update. Therefore they wanted only hotfixes in todays patch and not new potential bugs.

I agree, they probably had something more substantial planned for today but something may have come up.

The triggered action to display a picture to everyone, probably has some image scale options.

Scale is set in the ME, IIRC.

"Helicopters are allowed to receive AWACS messages."

How do I make this work? The radio menu is lacking the AWACS entry (in the Huey and Ka-50 at least)

I don't understand why ED asked Heatblur to postpone their major update planned for today to October 14.  For....this?! 🧐 🤷‍♂️

My assumption was that ED would not want 3rd party content to interfere with anything major planned on their side, to give them time to see if their update is running. This hotfix is sobering, to put it mildly. 😐

Just a funny coincidence: what will be on October 13-14?

FUNNY.

Thanks, but I know about the change logs which is provided after a patch release. I meant has ED mentioned any specific Core additions/improvements?

If you are looking for a future additions mentioned by ED, yes, Vulkan/Multithreading for last of the year from 2021 Roadmap.

If you are looking for a comment by ED telling "On 14-Oct patch we will add the Vulkan/Multithreading support" then no

Just updated to stable a few days ago and noticed that wingmen now land with you in formation.

Sometimes they do, yes. Other times, they warp all over the place giving you a heart attack: radar altimeter warnings when they teleport underneath you, or turbulence when they teleport in front of you... 🤨😬

Well, no matter.  It's a big improvement.  The couple of times I tried, the wingmen were pretty well behaved.  Hopefully, ED will make further improvements to it.  I tried to stay pretty far to the left on my approaches.  Maybe that helps.

  • ED Team

Please keep the discussion on the patch notes here.

We shared our plans at the beginning of the year, if we need more time for a project or task we will take it, they can not be rushed.

Thanks

It looks like 2.7.7 is coming next week. I wonder if the forum banner is a little sly hint that some more weather improvements are coming in the next patch:

New fog maybe? Cos that would be awesome 🙂
