I was more surprise the Su-22 were not announced.

The La-7 pics was talk by Octopus-G on October 2020... Su-22 was show on July 2022. Has normal on limited personal 3rd parties, project move slow.

La-7 is pretty cool. Now here comes everyone who’s going to complain there’s no map or assets for it…

ED has centred actualy on the WETO/PTO, Octopus-G has none confirmed a map and/or a assets team. Waiting if other 3rd party, coming into EETO.

For Work/Gaming: 28" Philips 246E Monitor - Ryzen 7 1800X - 32 GB DDR4 - nVidia RTX1080 - SSD 860 EVO 1 TB / 860 QVO 1 TB / 860 QVO 2 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Warthog / TPR / MDF

Will this effect snow?

Few things seem to effect my FPS in VR more than flying trough snow.

Over the clouds, everything is fine. I go below and into the snow and my fps can easily drop by 10-15.

Really happy to see the dynamic weather kick in. DCS clouds are the best I've seen and I'm looking forward to more great atmospherics as much as a new plane.

Some of the planes, but all of the maps!

I'm looking forward thre dynamic weather  but at the same time I'm afraid of VR performance... Please, could you comment something about the VR optimization?

I hope it doesn't mean that I have to buy a 4090....

Wow great news the weather system, it looks great in the photos, even though they are not new pics its great to hear its coming soon :), already loved the new clouds when they come out and they add so much to missions, when they are moving it will add so much more.

LA-7 well I can give that a miss as it really doesn't have a theater to fly in, and I prefer my warbirds to be flown in a proper theater against proper time line AI, but the model looks nice and I'm sure plenty will enjoy it.

It might be a good idea for ED to mandate the use of the advanced damage model to maintain consistency across the platform.

It shouldn't even be allowed to have damage model that stands out of other ww2 warbirds. Again I have VEAO vibes when ED allowed two diffrend flights models for one plane on the same server. I-16 is funny but it sill uses old smoke effects for leaks ect. Anyway La-7 great plane i was flying it a lot in 1946 old sim. I think we need a Berlin map for La.

A agree with you, any 3rd party module should adhere to the ED damage model that ED have so carefully put in place over the last 2 years, this should be part of the 3rd party devlopers presentation and acceptance by ED, its not like we pay any less for a 3rd party plane vs an ED plane.

I watch the weather vid that @NineLineteased on Friday for the weather, is that the best ED could do to showcase this 0.08 seconds and looked like it had been recorded of a phone 🙂, I would have thought something as good as this is going to be a bit more of a teaser was needed.

Thanks just went and had a look, wow stunning, those videos would have been worth posting on the other ED media outlets, not everyone reads every sub  forum here 🙂

There is a spelling error in the beginning of the newsletter - it says "hanger" where it should be "hangar".

Maybe the flight was aborted?

And I'll just walk away slowly now......  🥸

Different weather cells are planned, but we do not have a timeline on when they will be added.

Thanks! Will we be able to set different ground winds in different parts of the map any time soon?

Looking forward to the weather system updates, tone map and VR improvements. Thrilled to have a humidity slider that I can drag down though to increase visibility past like 5nm on a CAVOK day without having to add shader mods anymore (or just give us the pre-2.5.6.50321 visiblity back finally!) rdlaugh.png

The La-7 looks nice, can't wait for their Su-22 though dealwithit.png

Little dissappointed that the 1 year anniversary of ED saying anything significant about Multi-core came and went without comment.

Rainbows are great though I guess.

Lets hope theres a pot of Multicore at the end of one of them.

The new weather models, etc. looks fantastic.   Can ED share what the increase in the size of the install will be to accommodate the new awesome, fantastic weather system?

I am looking to upgrade from a 1 TB m.2 drive to a 4 tb drive and wonder if I should do it sooner than later.
