planned for later English HUD Option

I have my avionics set to english in the gameplay settings, but still only see Russian text on the HUD, anyway to change that to English please?

I did, but it doesn't change the hud for me, but I had a mod for BS2 ?

Took the Mod out but still doesn't change to English, not the end of the world I suppose.

Yes, this is correct as is. From the team that the HUD does not have English when cockpit is set to English.

Also dont understand why not all parts are translated but I am sure there will be a mod in the future

When you switch to an English cockpit the hud txt for the AA Igla mode is still in Russian txt

BS2 had an english HUD when you wanted it. Not sure why they did not do the same for the BS3 update. would like to see an official implementation into an english option HUD along with the cockpit.

That has been turned on, it gives an English cockpit but Russian hud, thats why I reported it as a bug, but now see its put in as a Wishlist item, I would have thought this was a no brainer to release it with an English hud when English cockpit was enabled ??

I mean, the whole helicopter will hardly be found in the world with an english cockpit at all so when selecting english for those whose russian is a little rusty the WHOLE cockpit should actually be in english It makes little sense to leave the HUD out.

Not really correct then... Does the real black shark have a "English option" for all the dials, lights and switches, but not the HUD? 

Surely it should really be all or nothing (including the HUD) - to be consistent with other modules. Or does "correct as is" mean its correct for how ED want it to be?

Yep! 
Very disapointing and this is what is holding me back on the upgrade from BS2 to BS3. How can you have one without the other is kinda baffling.

It seems obvious a lot of people want both cockpit and HUD fully in english. That was possible before but not now, it seems. 

Be it by official update or by a mod of some talented fellow member, I prefer to wait and see how it goes before March, when the upgrade becomes less accessible price wise.

I would like the HUD to be in English, too. It is inconsitent with the rest of the cockpit und hard to understand.

I'm working on the English HUD and Skhval mod, since the old one by Devrim doesn't work for me anymore, but there are some things that can't be dirrectly translated using google translator. It would be great to have some more info about the new igla HUD.

I have already reworked most of the stuff that was present in Devrim's mod, but had to take some guesses here and there.

In this video, Wolfpack345 talks about nitrogen coolant bottlest being punctured, The two worded message above "IGLA 4" on the hud is likely that info but I'm not 100% sure, so if anyone knows more, please let me know.

FWIW, the manual says (page 443) "НАКОЛИ НИП" means "CONNECT MSL PWR", "ЗПС" means "rear aspect", and "ППС" means "front aspect" or "head on".  A bit more on that first line:

I forgot about the manual, so they're all abbreviations, right? Because translator didn't pick it up. Would CNCT MSL PWR make sense? Thanks, this helps a lot BTW

I did try feeding them into Google Translate, and what came out didn't make any sense in English, so I assume they're abbreviations or acronyms.  CNCT MSL PWR seems like it would work.
