While I'd love to know the answer to that, I highly doubt ED is ready to give that answer. And any answer they did give would potentially be subject to change by the time they released Edge. So I doubt they would want to risk it. No matter if ED and Wags stated in massive bold text that these specs could change and are not final, there are some people here who will take it as gospel, run out to buy something and then scream foul at ED when the spec changes.

"Hurled headlong flaming from the ethereal sky; With hideous ruin and combustion down;
To bottomless perdition, there to dwell; In adamantine chains and penal fire"

1- DirectX 11 / DirectX 11 Windows 8 based.

is this a typo, since dx 11 is supported by win7 or did i just understand it wrong?

Looking good so far.

x4 GPUs, that in my books is a good start.

How about CPUs?

And RAM?

6- World can be as large as the designer wishes them to be, it is more of a question of development time / map detail.

:)

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Windows 8 has DirectX11.1, strictly speaking.

The minimum requirements for DCS were updated recently, requiring a 64-bit version of Windows Vista or newer.

Windows Vista (with SP2 and the "platform update") and newer all support DirectX11.
