SkateZilla Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 The holiday's are observed till Jan.8th (New Years, Christmas on the 7th etc) doesn't mean everyone is back on the 9th. Well, Companies in RUS might operate with stricter vacation rules than the US, so I could just be saying something without knowing. (I personally was off from one job from Dec 20-> Jan 8th, in the US), My Retail job however was Close Store Dec 24th, Open on Dec 26th.) Raven68 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Are these pics from a WIP integration of DCS itself?? They do look very good!! Thanks Matt!! taps Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 the imagen quality has improved  Hm, I see no significant improvement? Still, it's not bad.

I think it's still in the TV. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Silver_Dragon Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Interesting the "Static ?" F-16...... that planes has show more advanced / detaill model compare with the actual DCS: World F-16s, the new AI 3D models?. Interesting the tail surface control down. The 737 / Airbus ? parked not bad. And on the nevada pic look the billboards? show P-51D and a "airline"?. bkthunder Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Something weird about the lighting.... It seems like the color of the sun light is wrong, look at screen number 7, it's dusk and yet the reflections and lighting on those roofs and buildings are white, they should be yellowish. Same problem in other pics, IMO that's what's causing the weirdness and makes it seems like a badly rendered scene out of 3DsMax... Windows 10 - Intel i7 7700K 4.2 Ghz (no OC) - Asus Strix GTX 1080 8Gb - 16GB DDR4 (3000 MHz) - SSD 500GB + WD Black FZEX 1TB 6Gb/s
Silver_Dragon Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 surely, the light need tune up. Phantom453 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 These new images look very promising. Colors are much better and the detail level is stunning. I really hope this will run with my rig. ^^ This will be the true test. I'm already factoring in for either another GTX 680 (SLI) or an upgrade to a better video card, but will wait until EDGE's release to see which COA is the best for this. The level of detail around the flight line (static AC/ UCAV added now) and in the cities is just stunning. It looks to me like the colours/ lighting have been reworked some (love pic 7 for that). Nice touch with the P51D sign as well. REALLY looking forward to the release of EDGE/NTTR.
howie87 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Can't get EDGE soon enough! Maybe time for an upgrade for this and the MiG-21 though...

b00ce Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I'm curious whether or not Ft. Irwin will be in the map because if you center the 360x360km area on Las Vegas or Creech AFB, Ft. Irwin sits comfortably inside. It doesn't have an impressive airfield, its a dirt strip just shy of 2 miles long, but it would be a nice addition for rotor craft. If done right, it could even have Twentynine Palms too. But only just due to it being ~350km south/southwest of Area 51. The airfield at Twentynine Palms isn't too shabby either.
