Anybody knows if textures were replaced with higher resolution ones since the old beta, because that was quite FS2002-ish :( I'm looking forward to Nevada but at the same time I'm having nightmares from FSX and some horrible photoreal sceneries I stumbled across. On the other hand, it would probably be extremely large if they used some high res data, so this might be the only choice I guess? We'll see how it looks...

Old beta as in A-10C beta....

It;s been completely redone from scratch.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Even without DCS: Friday or Wagsdate I appreciate Matt dropping some eye candy about Nevada. Good to see that things are progressing well. :)

Don't let QA see that tool box, they'll write it up for not being secure ;)

Ha! You know you have been working the Flightline to long when you look at a screen shot of a sim and notice possible DSVs before anything else.

are the taxi lines supposed to lead us into support beams?? or am I wrong in assuming those are taxi lines...

Other than that... AWESOME.

Con Air Missions Anyone? lol.

Yeah, I noticed those taxi lines looked a bit odd.

However, the level of airfield equipment detail looks great though. All those fire carts, power units, tow motors, access stands, civilian cars etc, Even air conditioning units and ducting on the buildings (I'm sure they're needed in Nevada!! ;) )

It isn't ready yet so don't worry too much, it is nice to see some progress being made and shared with us, with new scenery around the corner and contrails/vapour beginning to make a come back, DCS world will visually be a new beast entirely soon which can only be a very good thing. Bring it on ED.
