  2. Many errors in the logfile were generated by mods which I installed several months ago and never caused any issues. However, I just had a look into the Wolf mod and the entry.lua looks indeed a bit strange. But wolf was also loading fine and available in the game since I installed it several weeks ago. I'll keep it quarantined for now. Anyway I moved most user mods to a backup directory and only installed a few required ones to Saved Games/DCS. My logfile is much shorter now but still contains error messages, even when loading DCS Core mods. Many of them are value reading errors (like a negative value was read for a parameter only allowing positive values ect.) but seem to not cause any further issues.
  3. I don't know if you ever got anywhere with this but there are a bunch of TF2215MC-B2 20x10 touchscreen used on eBay for very reasonable prices right now.
  4. It's built into the game but the server (host) has to have it enabled, clients have to have it enabled (audio settings) and configure keybinds (PTT) for it to use.
  5. Do you have a timeframe for the A-6? As much as I like the early 135-GR Tomcat (indeed you need to approach missions differently with the old RWR gear, great experience), it was a bummer to see that the Intruder, that has first been teased seven years ago ("shoulder to shoulder" video, as a sidekick for the F-14), was not included in the last update. Which was expressly promised. Really looking forward to the tadpole. And question #2 : Will the tanker version of the Intruder be included in the AI Intruder release?
  6. True, it is susceptible, but not to the extent it does right now. Just one or two chaff is enough to spoof the missile, sometimes, even that is not required. The current implementation of the new seeker model seems way off.
  7. Check special options > supercarrier and turn on helpers to indentify what they want from you or what they are stuck upon.
  8. Hi, I’m building missions with very complex trigger conditions. Many of them are no longer manageable with the click-based editor, so I want to switch as much as possible to Lua predicates. The problem: I cannot find any complete reference that lists which functions, condition types, or global objects are actually available in the Lua predicate context. Is there an official or unofficial list of what is valid inside a predicate? I’m not looking for the regular DCS scripting API, but specifically what the Mission Editor allows and evaluates inside the LUA predicate field. If no documentation exists, a short technical explanation of how the predicate environment is set up internally would already help. Thanks, Patrick
  9. I use an ancient software called PhotoImpact10,it does everything I need but it does struggle with 8k textures. I work in bmp format using Paint.NET to convert stuff to dds for the game. If my software struggles I reduce the texture to 4k and it handles that perfectly. All I need is something to work from, a base. I prefer a simple white livery which I can manipulate in as many ways as I need. I imagine there will be others who will also do some skins for it, its an iconic aircraft ansd it should be quite popular.
  10. This is actually intended behavior if you're not actively lasing while using XR processing. I believe this was changed with 2.9.20.15384.
  11. We have reviewed the issue again, it seems you may be missing a step. you seems to never set the SPI to the HUD/TDC in the track replay, and in turn the TGP then slaves to the STPT, which was his INIT POSIT some 4 NM behind. Here is a track when we set up the correct second waypoint with BMPs SPI to the HUD/TDC. A-10CII-slave to SPI.trk
  12. F-10 is often just a glance so it would be good if it had a toggle function rather than having to hunt for F-1 or whatever to get back to the cockpit.
  13. If a Vietnam-era F-104C is modeled, it should have the same APR-25 as Grinnelli's F-100D is supposedly going to have. And an F-104C should definitely be modeled, as well as the F-104G. Those two could maybe be released as separate modules. Then afterwards, maybe add an F-104S ASA as a separate module. The F-104C was used in the Vietnam War. It had an inflight refueling probe. Only 77 were built. The F-104G was most widely used and in the greatest numbers, 1,127. Operated by Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Italy, Canada, Greece, Spain(?) and Taiwan. The F-104S ASA had 147 upgraded from F-104S and was operated by Italy.
  14. A stripped down M113 is well within the limits of a CH-47F and D, but earlier version I am not so sure about. A and B version very quite weak compared to the later versions so I would really doubt that it actually happened in Vietnam. But for DCS purposes, it should be possible.
  15. Not sure why that would have any effect as the recenter view works for both at the same time, but to be honest I also have no idea why it's only DCS that has this issue, or the finite reason of why it goes away. Last time it just started working when I started VR with the DCS Updater, this time with a driver regression.. Both IL-2 GB and BMS 4.38 (both using OpenXR) have never had this happen.
  16. Hello Team, Since the latest update of META, my Oculus Rift is not working in DCS anymore. DLSS or DLAA creates a stutterfest. Even setting everything to low and disengaging of all filters and sharpening processes, lowering the frame rate to 60 and so on - DCS is not playable in VR anymore. I´m pretty sure that the latest META-update created a lot of troubles (that was the only thing that changed the last weeks) . The latency is very high and the picture in game is freezing after some minutes - comes with whites flashes shortly before. WIN-10 , 64GB RAM, NVidea3080 10GB RAM - Latest Nvidea driver, Latest Oculus driver (META), latest version of DCS. I checked the graphic card - the temperature is never higher then 60°. I running out of any ideas because I lowered everything to the lowest possible setting. Hardware is okay and running well. Help would be more then welcome, Thanks, Cheers, TOM
  17. Likely not, thought it may be something obvious to those using DCE. Sad there are not more F-86 Sabre\MiG-15 bis campaigns available but since there is no Korea map for the Korean War planes guess its inevitable..
  18. Gentlemen! Thank you for your congratulations and your wishes! It was very nice of you!
  19. The helmet visor and NVGs are mutually exclusive, you can only mount one or the other. Therefore there is no reason to have separate button bindings for each, it just unnecessarily occupies another button. If we could please get a single control to "Toggle NVG/Visor" it would simplify matters and control schemes.
  20. please check your hardware for calibration and spike issues, also check for double inputs assigned to the control in DCS thank you
  21. Today
  22. I think you missed this sentence from my last reply: > In a proper mission, the objective may be more important than losing an aircraft, and I'd accept the fight. In that case, which is what I thought we were talking about initially, we'd be in a mid-80s onwards: F-15s were finally sorted and available, and F-14s had the nulla osta for using the AIM-54C against fighters. You will have escort when mud-moving with the F-4, supported by controllers, EW, tankers and so on. You shouldn't YOLO in with a Phantom. Since Kermit is talking about airquake, then the whole situation is different. Out of curiosity, I checked how the game that shall not be named manages this, and F-4E/Kurnass will never see the 9.12 by a long margin (2.0 BR). I hope this reinforces the point I stated above.
  23. It’s unfortunate you went with a sim frame. You could have rigged the seat to slide way back and swivel 90° for entry like in some real sims. They usually use a boating helm seat track. Buy used not new. just do some casters and a door hinge or a piano hinge. Or a car door hinge. Split it one side or the other of the throttle. That’s a full “seam” across the side panel so effectively hidden when closed. although talk about overthinking under building I’m like 2 years now into a damn VPforce custom rig I still haven’t even started. I got the BIG break my arm motors!
  24. I really do wish the “not a cold war” was actually over to see all the actual scenarios and plans from both sides. But, that’s probably going to be another 50+ years at least. Assuming we don’t keep running in circles with stagnating technology like we have since the 90’s.
