DCS really needs a proper War Room for the upcoming Dynamic Campaign, both for MP and SP. A place where you can instantly see the overall battlefield situation, the current strategic plan, and how long each objective will take. There should be an interactive target list where you can click on targets to get info like whether it’s political or infrastructure, if it’s already destroyed, what its priority is, and if anyone (player or AI) is already assigned to it. You should also be able to right-click the same target to generate a sortie. It also needs to track your personal progress, what you’ve done, what medals you’ve earned. The War room should be able to show a list of missions you can pick from, and let you plan your own missions at different levels of complexity, so even a beginner can create something without needing to program 8 JDAMs just to get started. You should also be able to join AI-planned missions and even jump into aircraft that are already airborne. Jumping in Airborn jets is not a mandatory feature. But it would be nice, so you can join your friends later in the mission (when their flight contains Ai jets offcourse). The War Room should show a real-time map with all detected aircraft based on ground radar stations, sensors, EWR and AWACS coverage. And terretories you captured or are contested. And don’t forget a scramble button. If enemy players or AI come within 50 miles of your airbase, the game should generate an intercept mission right away. If no one takes it within 20 seconds, AI should launch that scramble instead. And of course, if your EWR or radar around the base is destroyed, you won’t see incoming threats and no scramble will be triggered. And it should have the ability for external apps to connect to it, or to get real time data from, things like SRS or TACVIEW and server owners and such, that need to get statistics/telemetry. All of this will improve team work naturally. And people can make sense of the war by themselves instead of going around like lost puppies. The goal is to make the combat and missions accesible for a large amount of players, from noobs to experts. And what way to do that better then a nice and streamlined GUI/War room. This war room should have military style art look, and not be to cluttered with 3000 options, and not look sterile with menu'sthat look like WIndows XP menu's. Something nice for the eyes and esy for the brains. And only when opening certain menu's/buttons you can show more advanced options for the more advanced players. In my opinion this will make the game way more accesible for everyone. And i'm sure this will lead into ED having more sales.

Still an issue with the new 25.8.1 update. Sticking with 25.4.1. Make sure you guys are doing the bug report on AMD's side.

Why would they be fighting ED for payments as well? You follow your contractual agreements, you get paid. You can treat your employer like crap and they still have to abide the contract; if your product is worth it then you can get away with things most people cant. If Razbam were to sell to another 3rd party they would only inherit the problems with the module, not the financial issues.

In the ASC Discord, Someone_somewhere (Matt ASC- CEO) confirmed the MC-130J is based off the standard C-130J, Therefore as they build the model again for the MC130J, They will also build and include the slick 130J with that. If you check, I believe they pinned his message in either general or ask questions section of the discord. null

I cannot find any success in WRCS mode with the shrike. My first hurdle is simply getting the shrikes to launch at all. I can maybe get the pull up carrot to flash, and then it is gone, and I can no longer get any cue at all. I included a track, this is typical for me. I end up launching in direct mode. Can anyone spot what I am doing wrong? I have spent far to much time failing at this. F4 Shrike Sa6.trk

In mission 20 "Helicopters intercept" of the "Heavy Sky" campaign for the Flaming Cliffs Su-33, the mission ends with a result score of 50 even after getting the message indicating mission success. As a result, you have to skip the mission to advance the campaign. You can see it at the end of this guy's video: Looking at it in the mission editor, it looks like maybe the 50 result points we're supposed to get for the "rec" mission goal are not being awarded because that goal has no conditions. When I start the mission and immediately end it, I end up with a result of 0.

Push-to-talk should be exactly this complicated: 1: Push. 2: Talk. That's it. That's as complicated as it needs to be. As easy as using an old walkie talky where in order to talk you 1) Push and then 2) Talk. But instead in the SRS client "Controls" tab there is no "Push this to talk" button. Instead there 50 different controls, none of them labeled "push to talk" and they assume you know what all of them mean. Can someone tell me what the hell I'm supposed to do? I've tried using this thing in multiplayer and have gotten nowhere. I bound a button to "common PTT" thinking that meant "common button to push-to-talk" but nobody could hear me.

This is my first post so hopefully a admin will move this to a more specific spot. Having issues under “General” in controls. my controller and mouse keybinds do not work in game. the keyboard works fine. i can bind them but they will do nothing when actually trying to using them. i’ve tried uninstalling and it didn’t do anything.

There might be something to this... Just did a quick test limiting the number or "missions" displayed in the menu to 1 per category and it does render the menus correctly... I will do some more testing and analysis tomorrow. Puzzling things is that the standalone client has not issues and the dedicate server does... Perhaps the menu rendering code is not the same. (BTW, my client PC and dedicated server differ only in GPU and total HD size) -
Also nvg model on helmut flashes in front of the players eye view when turning your head to look at stuff ...you see 2 big blue lenses flash in front of your face/line of sight. VERY annoying and immersion killing.It does not do this in single player

The issue with the French Pack is that it's not really maintained (one update since 5 years, and I doubt it will see any future updates... No Caesar, Griffon, Jaguar, Mamba, Crotales, etc). A few high-quality Currenthill frigates would be interesting (and why not the Charles de Gaulle!) -

With the upcoming F35 and mentions of "bridging the gap" to make things work, I don't see why modules like the L-39 couldn't receive a quality of life update. Adding simple things like Western instruments version with ILS/VORTAC/Modern Radios, Chaff/Flare, NATO Rocket pods/bombs would be huge! Or since the NS430 is already available, make the COM and NAV actually work.

Sorry for the late responses, folks.. @razo+r, I did set the freq for the FAC beforehand and made sure a preset was loaded into the radio before mission start. As for the ATC, I was on the ground at Kutaisi, made sure I was on the correct preset (again, set before mission start) and I tried multiple times to contact ATC for taxi to no success. But If I restarted the mission and tried again, it would work. I couldn't quite get it to do this consistently enough to really go into detail. I tried every possible version of PTT / Radio / communications button available in the controls menu so I'm not sure. @Flappie, Much appreciated. I've been back and forth with the L39 and the A10 so you are probably 100% correct and it may not have the JTAC Item. But I would be really cool if it were added. Again, thanks to both of you for your help!

I mean I think it’s obvious RB isn’t going to do anything unless they get paid. And seeing as ED for some reason doesn’t seem to be willing to pay, even with this last agreement that was signed in 2024, I don’t see anything ever happening. Thus, the agreement getting withdrawn. The reasoning why ED isn't willing to pay is only known to them, they seem pretty tight lipped about it, which is their choice. And it’s not like another third party is gonna buy the source code from RB like people keep hoping for. One, I doubt RB would just sell of their source code. And twoWhy would another third party take the risk to buy it? They’d then be fighting with ED for payments too. No way a third party would sign up for that.
