Hey Toni, there is a good Farragut 3D model out there. If I get enough donations and or coffee donations I will purchase and create it. Hello, everyone I have sent out the Russian destroyer Admiral Ushakov for testing. Once testing is complete I will release her if there are no major issues which there shouldn't be. Since there are only two of them in Service. I will see if I can create a livery for the Russian destroyer Nastoychivy. Hull number 610.12 points

No problem! I will continue to create modern assets so that we don't need to use the old ones in-game.7 points

Everybody has always had issues with the initial view because it's never automatically spawned with the desired default zoom value without needing to hit NumEnter first to recall the value saved in the SnapViews.lua. Most of us have learned to hit NumEnter reflexively on spawning in as of course that's the zoom value we want. That was annoying, but tolerable and, again, we're all used to having to do it at this point. But now, not even that works unless you use one of the work-arounds described above. (RCtrl+Num0 twice to go into and back out of panel view. Then it will work as before. Or switching seats in multi-position aircraft will allow it to work as well when you return to the main pilot seat.) Everyone has been very clear about this in this thread. If you have trouble understanding English then someone else should be communicating with the customers because you don't seem to be understanding, and your responses are near indecipherable to us as well and seem to be placing blame on the customers.5 points

Hi I wont droll long. Im into simming since 90s, went through all of them. Literally. Last few years Im back into DCS (was there when MP was crap in many ways). I tried almost all modules and bought alot. F14 trial I left for the end. Because....suggar for the end. I dont know where to start. Cockpit is the best out there, most detailed and spot on. Sounds also. Buffeting is spot on and I think not existand in any other module (at least to that level). FM feels believable though I never flew real F14. Its gorgeous plane. And a legend, ofcourse. Carriers are something special in this sim. Immersion. F14 will be insta buy next sale. Now I cant wait for F4. BTW most of my flying time I was playing WW2 planes (in all sims). But I think early/late cold war jet era is kinda sweet spot in DCS for many reasons. Cheers Tvrdi Disclaimer: Im very aware of the bugs, some missing stuff, some limitations etc. But thats a game, right? Nothing can be perfect. Its best what we have.4 points

I looked at your mission, and it was pretty easy to identify the issue. Just as @bennyboy9800 said, the different generations of DCS in-game assets is very evident. I just switched out the Mi-26 to a Ka-50 III and the LAV-AD tried a couple of Stingers (which was defeated with flares) and then took the heli down with the GAU/12. Also, in your test mission, the incoming A-10 was taken out with Stingers, which shows that both the missile and the modern asset have working configurations.4 points

I like to create inmersive enviroments in my missions, most of them to be played with helicopters, and DCS has a lack of civilian personnel. Would be great if someone create: -A man/woman dressed with a suit to have a VIP. -A man/woman dressed with typical white 'coat' of ingeneer/doctor/scientific. -Civillians of any kind. It would be great to rescue civillians, or only as atrezzo. -DCS has no 80s soviet soldiers but summer dressed paratroopers? :_( I have look for all this things and have found nothing Thank you very much.3 points

It is lost on the mists of Discord, but NotSo said that they usually do pop-ups along the route to make maps. They do one usually at 10 nm from the target, then go down low, the radar is given to the pilot (A/A) and then on the WSO is looking through the TPOD. My speculation is that these pop-ups would be made in some points that the enemy would have low radar coverage, or little to none time to react. Of course, NotSo always says that "good target study and planning are a integral part of the life of a Strike Eagle crew". What I interpret from that is when done in real life, they have many information that they take in account when planning a strike. It is not like we DCS pilots who jump in an Instant Action mission and try to do the best we can. I know it may sound like I'm some kind of NotSo's fanboy, but the fact he is the real deal, being a real life WSO. He is very active in Rambam's Discord and his videos in Razbam's YouTube have been very helpful. Also, he posts in his own channel lots of great stuff, sometimes answering people's questions or showing procedures for attack runs, like this one:3 points

Listening to the air combat sim podcast. Got some insight into the effort and work that’s gone into the F15Es pilots. The animations are also a wonderful addition, I think their hard work should be appreciated with some good feedback, I think it’s wonderful. Thankyou Razbam team.2 points

ATC is currently being reworked. In the meantime, can the ATC, Tanker, AWACS, and JTAC contact lists be changed to only show the units that are on your tuned frequency? There's no need for us to have to wait while 10 unresponsive airbase and farp radios get far enough away for the one area I want to finally "make rank". It will declutter the comms menu and help set proper expectations for normal vs easy comms. Edit: When you tune to the correct frequency, only units on that frequency should appear.2 points

The Mud Hen doesn't like sustained inverted flight. Around 10 seconds to double engine flameout at 300ft made for an interesting end to that particular sortie. I guess that's one reason the Thunderbirds use Vipers.2 points

Submission to the Livery Competition: B-17E assembly ship "Birmingham Blitzkrieg" of 379BG Included are two skins: B-17E Assembly Ship ''Birmingham Blitzkrieg'' B-17E Assembly Ship ''Birmingham Blitzkrieg'' Generic Download Link: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3332697/ "Birmingham Blitzkrieg" was first assigned to 414BS/97BG at Polebrook on April 11, 1942. Then transferred to 92BG at Bovingdon on August 24, 1942 and later assigned to CCRC 1/43; 525BS/379BG at Kimbolton, UK as formation aircraft, complete with bright paint scheme. She was salvaged on June 18, 1945. Her mission was to orbit the airbase to allow the rest of the group formation to form up after take-off. She would definitely be hard to miss!2 points

So there is the STORAGE class in MOOSE that @funkyfranky wrote for Day 1 https://flightcontrol-master.github.io/MOOSE_DOCS_DEVELOP/Documentation/Wrapper.Storage.html but this is the start of what MOOSE might do with it to join things up. I did a warehouse persistance script, just saves your warehouse to file and reloads it: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/332310-script-release-simple-warehouse-saving-sws/ @chromium is writing things now for DSMC https://dsmcfordcs.wordpress.com/ I Chromui He's pinging right now for feedback as he rewrites parts. I presume for all these people there are others doing the same. It's going to take some time to make use of these because everyone is already established in workarounds and years of doing things a certain way. But in terms of using it, its some of the easiest things to use, you can make factories and supply chains that have physical presence.2 points

Your welcome. Just a small suggestion. buffeting effects in cockpit etc. should be as an option (under special settings) since its not present in all modules and could be troublesome for our older folks cheers2 points

Thank you so much for the very kind words, nothing is as rewarding for us, as seeing that you guys enjoy it! From the entire team, thank you!2 points

F15E module is fantastic. Razbam have really shown what they are capable of with this. Love the F16 but the Eagle has more features and feels better atm. I love both but its F15E for me.2 points

Thank you @Grimes for all your work with this also. Also @Pikey for jumping onto some scripting. Would love to see this somewhat incorporated into Mist / Moose soon and make things a little easier to process for those of us like myself that is severely lacking in the coding / scripting department.2 points

Try setting the EADI to INS instead of STBY. I've also noticed you have a 'P/INS' advisory; your INS is not being GPS-corrected. Set the INS knob to IFA.2 points

You know the special edition of Cocardes that talks about the Mirage F1 cockpits here the link : Cocardes Digital Hors-Série n°01 (dogfight-editions.com) The BE is not even out, so expect a year maybe until the release of the M, it will depend a lot of how hard it will be for aerges and how much time they already spent on the M, so yeah don't expect it to be close ^^2 points

Ah, we all missed it because I recall it was implemented without a single word in patchnotes (as ED does sometimes) and this forum section suddenly had multiple posts with people asking why the hell the cannon wasn't working anymore . Fun times. P.S. - I think it has a sound, but it's so faint it's difficult to hear over engine at high power setting? Might be wrong, though.2 points

This is already reported for some time, I will keep applying pressure. Until then there are some options to stop certain units from engaging air units that helps for now. Thanks.2 points

i never customized my view before. still my 190d default view got porked. post last patch went from 100 to 119 degrees, other ww2 birds stayed at 1002 points

+1 sort by tuned frequency. Sorting by distance is pointless.2 points

From my Economics 101 days, did you ever heard about "Inelastic demand" ? ... DCS is a niche product and thus even if they drop the price of a module, its demand will increase only slightly, because most users that were interested on it, have already purchased it.2 points

my AAR delema went away after I stopped looking at the basket, now I look at the buddy store on the top of the hud just to the right of center and drive in at 2-3 kts. I dont even look at the basket at all untill i am connected and settled down a bit. If I do look at the basket I am all over the place and just shoot the tanker down with a gun,2 points

+1 No way to adjust the slew rate through axis control and it's impossible to make fine adjustments. Does the SE have a system-level slew rate adjustment that hasn't been implemented yet?2 points

Думаю, что я обратно установлю A-10CII. Заказал только что РУДы от VKB (Те, что новые) и пробовать их наверное лучше будет на A-10CII ) Ну если приедут конечно же и с РУДами не утонет пароход )))2 points

@USSR_Rik I am NOT having any issues with SAVING the adjusted view - this is still working fine, as it always has been. I modified my FOVs a long time ago and I checked that SnapViews.lua still contains my custom FOV values - they are there. Before reporting this, I even deleted the file and then set the FOVs up again, and then checked the file again, because I assumed that the file format may have changed. The issue we have is that the stored FOV for the default view is NOT LOADED anymore automatically from SnapViews.lua since Update 2.8.8.43489. What I found out however is that pressing { Right Ctrl + Num 0 } triggers the loading and after that everything is working as expected - but this is only a workaround and not how it was working before Update 2.8.8.43489.2 points

As I always say VR I will never ever try to be like the other modder. The other modder and I are two different people from two different continents with one common interest. Creating 3d Models for you all. We spend days and hours creating mods for you all to enjoy Free of charge! You all either like the mods or you don't. Either way, we continue creating models no matter what. At some point, I will move away from the Forum and post my mods on my Discord. I will let you all know when that will happen. On another note, the next mod up for release will be the Russian Destroyer Sovremenny.2 points

Hi, this is up to ED. We have asked for the new ammo types and they are in the process of implementing them.2 points

I fail to understand how slower speed makes you automatically fly higher. Nothing is really different when you don't look at the speed. You still keep the same attitude, 15 uAoA, lineup and GS - steady controlled descent around 3 degrees. I think it's mostly about throttle management skill. It's hard because you wait for the reaction and can easily overdo it, like PIO. Make small corrections like push the throttle a bit for 2s then back it off - you'll see the changes produced by thrust after 1-2s. If the throttle alone makes too much deviation you can quickly correct with DLC. Don't push the stick if the attitude is correct. You can start with autothrottle or even full ACLS to see how it feels like, then try it yourself.2 points

This discussion got me looking into more info on the earlier IRST and as noted above it's difficult however I did find this (how it was presented to the pilot) as which according to the post in another forum "This picture shows the IRST of the F-8D and early F-8E"2 points
