Is this verified?

2 weeks (tm stands for trademark) is an old flight sim community joke (since the falcon 4 times iirc)....are you new to flight sims? :D

It comes from when being asked when something will be ready for release or such like that, the standard response always seems to be "Two more weeks!!!".

IIRC it came from Oleg Maddox of the old Maddox Games.

"Two weeks be sure".

Also there is "SOON™". Same basic gag, all based around the fact that devs who answer the ever persistent community question of "when" almost always live to regret it!

Although Duke Nukem took it to a WHOLE new level. :D God I loved that game.

VR head tracking rates/speed.

Greetings All,

I've been using Oculus Rift now for some time.

One setting I cannot find is the Head Tracking Rate or Speed. When using TrackIr you can easily change the speed of head movement in the GUI but this doesn't seem to be available in the Oculus software or in the DSC World settings.

My problem is that I have a neck injury, so my head movement is limited and painful, therefore checking six is nearly impossible for me without taking my hands off the controls and moving my whole body out of position.

Has anyone been able to alter this setting yet?

1:1 is how it is meant to be, you're thinking of TrackIR which is different concept

The good news is that the 1:1 tracking offers superior spatial/situational awareness .

You can’t do that in VR...you would have heavy sickness doing that.

Sorry your neck hurt, you might use a rotating desk chair to help you.

Hello Crayfish,

You may try to use a TrackIR in conjunction with your VR headset. I discovered last week that I could use both at the same time ; you could get the immersion thanks to the VR while benefiting the high head tracking offered by the TrackIR. No more pain for you))

I use the beta branch of oculus, are you using beta or was this a stable update to oculus? Ill check today as it seemed like performance was alittle off last night.
