My understanding is that it only applies to the Hornet at the moment. The effect will be added to the other aircraft at a later date, but the Hornet is the testbed.

I believe, the raindrops will apply to all aircraft that own a certain canopy glass texture file.

Yeah, basically all modules with updated cockpit textures for new graphics and shading will have rain drops, for example the A-10C does not.

Which begs the question, when? As a slower aircraft the rain effect could be a game changer for the A-10.

ASAP, but it is a lot of work upgrading the older aircraft, they are working on it.
