17GB, 28 MB per second, took 10-15 min maybe. What always takes a lot longer are the MP servers to update <taps finger>.

Is there still a way to download and unpack on an other drive? I unfortunately don't have 50go on my DCS drive.

 

The previous method with a autoupdate_settings.cfg doesn't work anymore...

I have the full deck of modules, I also have all the IL2 GB stuff which just had an update. So it's WW2 tonight.

Nice to see the new IA missions, very welcome!

 

A couple of issues though, I struggled to get the comms menu up to select difficulty with the Bf109 & Fw190A8 and new missions, just kept hitting the button until it finally came up. Also the labels were on full even though I had selected dot. Trying an old IA mission and both functions worked fine - comms menu worked as normal and labels as dots.

Am quite disappointed that today's OB patch is the first OB patch requiring 480GB SSD or bigger (I have 240GB) and ED not having mentioned this in neither these patchnotes nor in a separate forum- or Discord-post. Cannot fly PvP MP now for several days until my just-ordered 480GB SSD arrives. Very disappointing christmas-situation here... (and many others aswell probably) 👎
