Pity it's a glass cockpit -J, but very very cool to see the Herc come to DCS!

 

As for what I'd like to see announced next...well, no prizes for guessing, but I'd be pretty chuffin' surprised!

Is there a prize?

I assume the following: Pucara, Su-22, Mig-17, a late model Zero...

Possibly the SAAB 105 or OV-10? Possibly a helicopter (Eurocopter Tiger or Mi-2URP would be cool, although AH-1 is more likely).

I hope we get a large, modern transport helicopter one day. A Blackhawk would be a start... a CH-53 a dream.... just my thoughts. 😉

My guesses would be:

  • UH-60 variant
  • F/A-18E (F?) early
  • F-15C full fidelity
  • MiG-29 full fidelity

Oh, I missed "3rd party"

So, in that case strike the F-15 and MiG-29

Hmm, Phantom, Eurofighter and A-6 have already been kind of announced, so

  • Cessna O1
  • AH-1W which is wishful thinking on my part

My wild take:

  • X-wing (T-65B)
  • USSR Space Shuttle
  • Map: stratosphere
  • Wright brothers first heavier-than-air plane
  • No, on a second thought, a zeppelin would be better as the bombing is more "hands-on", and the damage model is more "explosive".

If the KC-130 is in their plans, along with the ability for a human flown Herc to deliver gas to a jet on the basket, what would be so outlandish about proposing a flyable S-3 Viking with a buddy pack?? It was an extremely versatile carrier plane that could conduct anti shipping, anti submarine, reconnaisance and air to ground attack missions in addition to acting as a tanker. There is no doubt that it would be a big hit amongst the carrier mafia within DCS 👍

I got some insider information on the AC-130. The AC-130J is too secret for them to get enough information on to do so they would have to redo the module as the H to make an AC variant which would pretty much be a whole new module and a separate purchase. Can’t quote my source so take it with a grain of salt.

My 4 biggest wishes on wags riddle are (can‘t resist the rotorcrafts😇):

1: UH60 (most likely from the existing mod-team),  air assault with the AH64, CSAR!!!

2: CH47D (May be one day? I love the Chinook, a cool bus on steroids!!!)

3: AH1W (Marines need stuff, too😉,but any single engine Cobra would be cool, too!)

4: M1A2 or Leopard2 Tank module for CA🤩🤩🤩 Heavy Iron on the ground!
