This is interesting context.  If RAZBAM and ED are waiting with each other, that indicates that there is another party they are waiting on.

yes,customers.

IF (!) they resolve the problems I would be happy to see progress on the F15E again. But I would never ever spend a single cent on any razbam product again. (I bought the F15E before the disaster of course)

Once RZ receives their development license, things will change. Perhaps the changes will happen soon. As a result, we will or would see needed updates appear. The restoration of business between RZ and ED would be a major celebration.

RZ says they would provide a free update to the Mirage 2000.

Hopefully, ED and RZ would take steps to improve customer relationships. Time heals wounds. At the same time, it takes both companies to make it work.

After a stalemate that had lasted approximately one year, we should keep telling, reminding, and writing to ED and RZ to solve their problems.

After what happened, would you buy a RB module again?

First of all the must finish all missing stuff for Harrier, M-2000C and (obviously) F-15E.

Then, RB should release a really interesting module... M-2000-5 / Mig-23 are not interesting enough to me.

And even if they did both of above, I will wait for the end of Early Access before buy.

If I was younger I'd play out my pride and refuse to buy more stuff from RB. But at my age, if it's cool and I can buy it and fly it - I'm buying it and flying it.

Not a snowball's chance in hell will ED allow razbam to return to DCS. Nor should they. Razbam has actively tried to undermine, if possible destroy, the one and only real military flight sim available to flight simmers. Anyhow,  ED needs to devise a way to clean up the crap razbam left behind,  and that's exactly what ED has been trying to do. Looking forward to seeing ED and the community move on.

Do you have any serious evidence or sources for your claims? (surely not) Or are you just expressing your subjective dislike of Razbam? (most likely)

You're free to uninstall and not buy anything from Razbam. You can move on and stay unaffected.

I think I will not buy any other 3rd party module again.

I still have the F-15E and I'm waiting for a positive resolution. I like how it was modeled and I like to see it fully developed.

Pride and business don't go particularly well together: ED knows that sending RB to go hell would leave a lot of "unhappy" users with a really low trust in ED accountability, which probably won't buy another 3rd party module untill the hell freeze.

Much better swallow the pride, try fix the issue with RB and then try to find a way to avoid such kind of problems in future modifiying the ED vs 3rParty dev agreements.

Indeed, even as an individual it's easier to speak of principles than honor them, for a business, dealing with companies and individuals? Nigh on impossible

BUT like individuals "Once bitten, twice shy", let's hope ED learnt after the 2nd time 😶

If ED can't talk about matter because of Legal issues than why have they created this topic and allow the customers to comment. Close this now and when you have information to share and I mean meaningful information inform the community. Maybe it's just me but I think both ED & RZ are playing the customers to their advantage and neither are going to resolve this matter as long as they can use the customer base to deflect. I also don't think either has faith in the Legal system.  TC

Unfortunately wounds that have been left to infest don't heal. In this case, amputation is the healer.

Based on my experience buying Razbam modules, I would never buy another module made by them - even if it was DCS: F-22A. While I agree modules aren't major purchases, the free market works best when companies that don't treat consumers with respect don't get sales, and in my opinion that describes Razbam. Others obviously disagree, all opinions are valid.

Also agreed

A little perspective might help when people consider how they feel about a dev or module.

If half finished manuals or implementation is not for you then steer clear of EA alltogether - problem solved.

Wait for the finished article and then buy it, even better wait for one of the many sales and get it then. Broadly speaking I would wager you could pick up most modules (albeit after a wait) for around £50 UK pounds or so.

That's about the same price of a round of golf or a couple of evenings down the pub or another activity that's a one time event.

Anyone would think we were shelling out several grand for a rolls royce that got delivered with dents in the bodywork.

Not poking anyone here - just saying its a hobby that we invest in of course but as has been said - its not like the market is awash with other options is it.

Regards,

Gary

I personally feel Razbam are well and truly out of the equation for developing anything again in DCS and the hope for a good outcome is Razbam leave DCS on good terms, whatever that may entail.

I just recently decided to refund the F-15E. Havent heard anything - good OR bad - in the last 5-6 months that suggest otherwise, and frankly dont really see it going anywhere from here on out. Hope they do better at microprose, but wont be including me in that science project. Never again.

As soon as there is something official to say (and no rumors or the like), you will be able to read it in the first post of this thread.
