Pat01 Posted October 3, 2012 Author Posted October 3, 2012 Ok I got it work through the helicopter_exhaust.lua file but I'm not sure it's the right way. Further testing will be needed concerning using two different helicopter mods (i.e. one player and one different client mod) and gaz exhausts this way.

As I am very interested in understand how much DCS world can be modded to add helicopters and planes I started reading your thread. What I am seing so far is very promising. let me know if you need help on this project... (where is the LUA documentation ????) Bye Fred

I read some materials and I believe it should not be that difficult to integrate my helicopter physics library with DCS, is there a way to read / set velocities and angular velocities in DCS through Lua ? thanks

aaron886 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Good to see cockpit progress. If you're interested in critiques, I think you could use a higher polygon count in your modeling, and the pilot definitely needs more detail. Better/more detailed textures will help too. Keep it up! :)
