  2. Does the HAD have an expand mode? The display gets cluttered very easily. The friendlies can be filtered but if you have a few radars in "close" proximity from each other it gets very confusing.
  3. It still saves the waypoint with the correct altitude, 9:38.
  4. Iraq is big and its much closer to Syria than what we have in the PG map, but I agree having a good portion of Iraq (east), kuwait and north of Saudi Arabia would be nice, although that would be a big map for DCS standards.
  5. Page 80 from the DCS manual. "Failure to enter the data will flag the alignment as degraded and not allow important monitoring functions to take place. Navigation, weapons delivery and targeting pod pointing errors may also result. The alignment will stop and start again if the data is entered later than two minutes into the alignment."
  6. Also, the steerpoint depends on mode selected in each weapon. For example in the maverick VIS has a different steerpoint than PRE, its really confusing sometimes and annoying. If you change the INS knob to normal it will go to the INS DED page automaticly. It has been a long time since I did a normal alignment so I don't know but stored heading was working fine. Also after 9.crossing fingers, I guess you are switching the INS knob to NAV.
  7. I would like to know about this update, since sometimes its hard to communicate with 1 UHF and 1 VHF. And it doesn't show on the roadmap. It would be nice if someone of ED could say something about this. Thanks.
  8. Maybe the waypoints aren't reliable, so HAS should be employed.
  9. Did some tests and it worked fine now in singleplayer. But yesterday was horrible. I don't know if its related to the ammount of ground units (around 150-200), long waypoints + multiplayer. It was running on a dedicated server. They got stuck all the time, if I gave the order to move when I was inside a unit, they sometimes reacted as with changing formation, but sometimes the got there forever. If it happens again I'll try to upload a track.
  10. PB only permits a very few degrees off. Its mostly for long shots.
  11. This is still happening. Its impossible to use Combined Arms. They get stuck, sometimes if you change formation they start moving and then they stop again. I attached a screenshot were I couldn't move 1 group and then all the following groups got also got stuck for ever, I couldn't move anyone. The pathfinding is really REALLY bad, impossible to use Combined Arms.
  12. The problem of mods is everyone needs to download the mod and install it, they sometimes cause crashes and they don't have a "dead" model so if you use them for targets the model won't change when it gets destroyed.
  13. Can someone explain why it disappear when carrying some type of weapons? Does it give another information in the same spot? Because right now in the game it only disappears for ever and in every mode, NAV, A/A, A/G, it makes no sense. Thanks.
  14. Clutter in the hud for carry some weapons? I can't believe hiding something so important than own position for only carrying some weapons, and in every mode?. During evasive maneuvers you need to look away from the hud, down to a mfd to see where you are. It makes no sense.
  15. I'm also curious about this missile since it will be the first A/G radar guided weapon in the game. I guess this weapon should be best employed for isolated targets and I don't think it's very good for moving targets since it could track an unwanted vehicle.
  16. Its very difficult to make a mission because everytime I think of an objective and look at the objects DCS has right now, its like, "here we go again, anoooother coms tower", or "another HQ". There're some good statics like the Gas Platform or Oil Rig that were added since a few years, but for example the Tech Combine is awesome for a mission but its VERY old. DCS needs big structures that can be good objectives, like embassies and a few gubernamental buildings.
  17. The game still has the same models from 20 years ago. And its very difficult to do missions with the same 4-5 viable objects for years now. The game needs lots of new civilian and military objects. If you look at the encyclopedia and take 1 minute to look them you would think you're playing a 90's game. Most of the statics are very dated and I cant make missions with cows and "beer bombs".
  18. You can assign "shift" buttons with the modifiers button, is the first one from the bottom on the controls menu. You can customize the throttle axis so it can activate the AB at a specified position. Its not very friendly but its possible.
  19. The aircraft is moving so it will move with the terrain/change of distance and not with the radar image. Or is something else? I didn't notice any drift.
  20. I had the same probem 3 times. I thought the targets were very close and the explosion were destroying the mavericks in the air but your target were more spread out. I used the D version.

  22. Sometime ED added in the briefing "from" where the wind is blowing instead of "to" direction, it may be realted to that since its the opposite direction.
  23. It was going to be a block I, but then they added stuff from the block II. I think its not a specific aircraft.

  25. For me the most complex of the F-16 is the SPI, because it depends on the mode selected in each weapon, it's not independent like in the F-18 or A-10. It happened to me more than once when I set a waypoint for a SPI but I'm for example in Bore with a maverick and the SPI now it's something "impossible" with hundreds of miles. In the F-16 you need to think how you want to attack and then where and for me that's not the most simple way fo thinking.
