  1. Well if you think about it, if you use Start1 and it fails you used 1 accumulator, so you are left with 1 again for the second attempt which will most likely result in a fail again, since use of only 1 failed the first time... Therefore there is no logic in using only 1, better to use 2 and you are sure to start the engine, if using 2 fails then its not your fault and using only one in that case again would make no difference.
  2. I'd love it as standalone, good idea.
  3. Qatar Rafale with Sniper Pod.
  4. So what? I mean if you do some cold war version wouldn't it be too similar to Mi-24? other than Mi-24 transport capability.
  5. I'd like to know if there are any news on EF? Nothing for few months...
  6. That's not true, TMS Right = AREA Track
  7. GBU-24 seems to drop in pair when SGL is selected, it should drop only 1 bomb. GB24 dropping 2 .trk
  8. They guess some stuff but if they start to guess EVERYTHING then we can call it arcade rather than sim.
  9. Anything on this one?
  10. Out of limits reference will be added, work in progress. When you release TMS forward it will attempt to lock the target in the ellipse.
  11. It shows NO RAD cause it waits for you to release TMS Forward, as soon as you release it it should snap the closest target in the ellipse and lock it. Haven't tested yet tho.
  12. My monitor is calibrated, also if it was my monitor others could not se it since theirs is set up correctly right? It works very good everywhere else but in DCS, and it seems I'm not the only one with the issue. Brightness is at 55, Gamma 1, DCS gamma 1.8
  13. But ED never said they were doing SuperHornet anyway. In fact the very second post on this thread says it is not in plans.
  14. I have some similar issues, reported way back and the issue is still there for me, between my report and current date there has been more than few patches with no change.
  15. What I really don't like is that the AI aircraft know exactly where I am even with no AA radar or any kind of Datalink, just their RWR, like shown in this image where SU25 turned on me in pitch black night 20ish miles away with no other help than RWR: I also had seen SU25 launching IR missile off boresight, which is also impossible for that aircraft. When I catch that on track file I'll post it, Anyway I hope they can address issues with AI in the future, some stuff is really game braking.
  16. This was reported in bugs section: Guess it is not high up on the priority list.
  17. Yes, deselecting threat classes speeds up the search, so if you know which SAM you are hunting just leave that class selected it will find it in no time. As for threat rings not showing on HSD, if you selected late activation in mission editor that might be the case. Did you rearm by any chance while alignment was in process? If it shakes the aircraft it messes up the alignment.
  18. Usual suspect is the alignment, what kind of alignment do you do Stored or Normal, and if Normal do you confirm the coordinates when it starts? Again check the alignment.
  19. @BIGNEWY Hi, Track here: RWR doesn't separate contacts .trk
  20. Whats the point of having a Hurricane in DCS? to spawn in the jet and sit on the runway?
  21. The ability to change graphic settings in game is long awaited feature.
  22. In some cases it doesn't separate the threats, can't see what they are. In this case many threats were active and showing up on RWR, that's why Priority mode was set.
  23. Size of the team doesn't matter, why would they keep 150 people (for example) working on 1 system when they can do it with 5 people. The problem lies in the documentation availability, if they are not done with something, usually it means they are having trouble getting valid documents so they can give us the best representation they can. Sometimes those documents cost money, cause they are held by some museum or government agency, declassified but not free for everyone. So I'd rather wait for something then get some fictional or even arcade representation, and I will support the projects they do cause I think they are doing a good job.
  24. Y... no, for me what sells is realism, shiny graphics are good, but they are not priority, 1. Realism 2. Performance 3. Shiny Graphics
  25. Hey, Yea off course they are designed to be guided by laser, I'm not saying it should hit the target spot on without guidance, but it should at least fall in the general area of the target, they are now dropping half a mile or a mile short (didn't measure the distance), From what I can find online the GBU24 can correct for relatively large deviations from planned release parameters in the primary delivery mode. Now again I'm not saying that it should hit the target, I'm saying that it should not drop short almost a mile away from the SPI - target. CCRP stands for Continuously Computed Release Point so shouldn't it be computed for GBU24 to hit in the general area of the target? Without laser designation and released withing release parameters, What do your SMEs say on this matter, does it correct or it just drops like a dumb bomb?
