I'm new to DCS. I believe it's an outstanding flight sim. But my perspective on the game took a major hit when I loaded up a REPLAY track and discovered to my horror that the replay does not reflect my actual gameplay (i.e. I crashed in the replay when I did not in the original playthrough). For a game like DCS with its relatively high price points, the lack of a fully functional replay track is an embarrassment. After conducting a due diligence, I was surprised to learn that this replay bug has been around for years, not months or even days, but years. In light of this, I cannot recommend this game to my friends or colleagues in good conscience. The devs should know better. The devs should be better. Do your customers and community better and fix the broken replay system once and for all. Thank you.

Ok, since mission 3 is too long to for me to be played in one session I decided to use the save-game feature implemented into the campaign: when I reach the Exxon tanker I get the "game is saved" message and then I exit the mission clicking "end-mission" button at the debrief page. However, when I re-enter the campaign I found that the progress is moved to mission 4... Same occurs if I skip the first part within the first minute. Do I did something wrong?

JF-17_can_not_be_notched.trk Target is at the slowest possible speed and practically 0 closure speed relative to the ground. No ground clutter or loss of contact. Bug happens within 7-8 nautical miles.

There are so many problems with the countermeasures on the mirage right now. 1- The plane in-game right now, does not need to mount the éclair pod to carry more than 16 flares. this is clearly a bug, éclair does nothing but add weight at the moment. (also flares will never visually come out of the éclair straight down. they always come from the fuselage launchers no matter how many you load on the plane) 2- If you select 112 chaff + 48 flares on the load-out or rearming page, you only get 42 flares loaded on the plane. 3- More importantly 48 flares (or 42 for that matter) shouldn't even be possible on the mirage IRL even with éclair pod. It's 16 flares without and 32 flares with the éclair pod IRL. 4- The game will allow you to load 162 flares 0 chaff if you ask. This should be impossible as the SPIRAL dispensers on the fuselage do not allow the much larger flare canisters to be loaded, only chaff is possible in SPIRAL. 32 flares with the éclair is the absolute limit a mirage can carry IRL. 5- The maximum countermeasures count with éclair should be 130 chaff 32 flares. 112 chaff in the spiral and another 18 in the éclair that are missing right now. To sum up: too many flares, missing chaff from the éclair, éclair is broken, spiral should not be able to load flares. It's very strange to me that these mistakes are in the game as the 3D models of the plane and the éclair pod literally allow you to count the countermeasures that they carry visually. In my opinion, countermeasures on the mirage should be on or off. either you load them full or you don't load any. there is no need for a slider like US and RUS jets. the mirage has dedicated launchers for both type that cannot be mixed. even the éclair does not allow you to choose what it carries IRL as you can see in the picture (EM is chaff IR1 and IR2 are for flares). it's either on the plane with 16 flares 18 chaff or it's not.

Title says it. I can not zoom in and out and change my heads position. The standard setting is way different from the Su-27 one too, not allowing me to see my airbrake and generally anything in the rear hemisphere. J-11_cockpit_broken.trk Another bug that i have been wanting to report for a while is that when you speed up the simulation in a singleplayer mission, while flying a J-11A, you can not slow it down again. Forcing you to restart the mission or finish it at 2x,4x,8x,16x etc. speed. This bug has been in DCS for a while. I cant show this with a track, just speed up the simulation speed in a singleplayer mission and try to decrease it to normal again while flying J-11A.

I would add later this day a video of this. The basic idea is: - 80% of the time the missile won't show on RWR and you would just die. - The time it does show on RWR it usually shows about 0.5 seconds before impact and very rarely it will show 3-4 second before impact. - Also a F-14 will not show on the RWR when it locks you for most of the time, it will maybe blip in RWR twice or a bit more but that's it. (Tests have been done on the Viper [F-16] but a Hornet [F-18] player that i fly with also confirmed that the Phoenix doesn't show on RWR). *I would try to add a video of this happening when im home, around 6-4 hours from when this is posted*

If there are players on catapult 1 and 3, when the third player hooks the bar on catapult 2 he will not be fixed. The player will be able to move along the catapult with a jagged animation. Also he will not be able to leave the catapult, as the game will first let him move away from it and then "pull" him back When I get a chance to do it in multiplayer again, I'll try to drop off the track. I will also attach a screenshot of an example of how the animation hangs. (The plane in the screenshot is not the one attached to the catapult)

Hi @Hollywood_315First say that thankyou for updating the Vaicom program Is well appreciated! Ok here we go. I am making the spanish conversion of the latest commands and I found this issues. Have to say that the language is not a problem here as it recogizes the instructions and command them. I have used spanish version for a long time. 1. This is not lantirn one, but If I command Jester to be silent, he won't. I think this is important for our peacefull flights!. He continue giving "nails" rwr callouts. 2. The Kneeboard Extension don't recognizes the Clear notes. Of course the end of dictation is commanded before trying to clean everything. 3. Lantirn Laser: Don't know if Latch is activate or deactivate Laser (languaje barrier) but it seems to activate it. When I want to toggle the laser with laser toggle command, Jester stops firing the laser, but in 2 seconds or so he arms the laser and starts again to fire it (the L appears blinking). Don't want to burn my laser! Please help! 4. Track QHUD and Snow plow don't work. If I select a steerpoint with QDES and the Lantirn goes to that point, then after I command Snow Plow or Boresight, it jumps to the bore or snow, but quickly returns to the last area that was selected in QDES. Undesignating the lantirn don't work for this. 5.selecting other point (home point, inicial point, fix point) the lantirn becomes crazy, jumps to the point and then returns to the QDES one and then try to return to the selected not steerpoint one. 6. Selecting any target (surface, tanks, ships, etc...) the lantirn don't turns into point track.. just area track, so if the target moves then the point will be in place not following the target. This are the first bugs/Issues I found. Of course they can be my fault, so for that reason it would be great if someone could test them. Thanks!

The Su-27 Datalink no longer shows target aspect and speed. In my track there is a bomber coming towards me at 12.000m and mach 1.5. On datalink, it shows as a hovering UFO at 12.000m, that is drifting towards me at a 90 degree angle. SU27_DL_bugged.trk

I'm just testing this module to see if I'd like to purchase but I don't see how anyone can enjoy it. The way it feels and the bugs, and Jester, why? It flies like bucket of bolts made of lead. The RIO Tutorial is missing the console buttons you have to press during the Tutorial? This is not a finished product, and puts shame to the F14, makes me cry inside a little as this is my ultimate favourite fighter aircraft IRL. Is anyone else having the same issues or shares the same views?

I bought a Leap Motion hand tracking device, and tried it out in DCS VR. The experience was not very great. Even though the tracking works fine in the Leap Motion App, my hands are all kinds of crooked in VR. My Fingers do weird stuff in DCS, even though they show up correctly in Leap Motion. And even worse is the pointing in DCS. The cursor doesn't go where your finger points, it is very awkwardly positioned, I had to twist my hand way left, and way down, so the cursor went somewhat in the right position. It seems to point from the middle of your hand, not the finger, which is very annoying. And it wiggles around so much, it is almost impossible to hit buttons precisely. Additionally, my hands disappear regularly in VR, without moving them. I have to move around my hands to get them to be tracked again. All of these Problems are non-existent in the Leap Motion Control Panel I also tried the "Fingers" app, that is supposed to emulate a mouse cursor by pointing your finger, but it also tracks your whole hand, not your finger, so I have to move my hand around in a very awkward manner to point where I want. I tried different tracking modes in leap motion, desktop, screen mounted and headset mounted, but nothing seems to improve the tracking. I am very disappointed with the implementation of Leap Motion in DCS. The Leap Motion Tracking itself is very good, but in DCS it is very very bad. Which is a shame, since finger pointing in DCS would be VERY beneficial for VR.

Some bugs may be known but I would like re-report 1---- You cannot get the Gunner . does not switch to gunner view, but if you click on the left mouse button after pressing the 4 key,The gun fires but the camera doesn't change. 2---- Animations are not sync while carrying cargo. 3---- Cargo camera not working I will post other problems.

Super excited that the F15-E Strike Eagle is finally here. Thank You Razbam & ED for your work. So, I went into DCS and it downloaded the latest update (2.8.6.41363) Then I did a DCS Repair. Then went into DCS MT, application loaded fine. Then into Module Manager and then attempted the install process. The DCS Updater (version 2.16.3.18) starts to run briefly then it stops and says "Latest available version 2.8.6.41363 requires Windows 8.1 or higher. Press OK to pick the latest compatible version - So I click on OK and this is then followed by Version 2.8.6.41363 is not available. Consider updating - Which of course I have checked already, this is then followed by an autoupdatelog (attached to this report, along with DCS errors) Yet in a bizarre twist of event I tried the same procedure in DCS (non MT) version and it downloaded and installed with no issue.. Have exited DCS Non M-T and gone back into DCS M-T and the module loads and fly's and looks lovely but thought it was worth reporting in case it is an issue. autoupdate_templog.txt

Hi. New update, new bugs! FSR,NIS,TAA-really good graphic options for lower/mid-end PC. In other games that options works really good, improving my fps with little cost of quality(almost not noticable). But not in DCS. As u can see in the video after enabling one of those three settings, the textures(in this example the most noticable f16 canopy) stutters, there is some ghosting? I dont know how to name that. After switching back to MSAA (2x for me is most optimal) everything looks fine, but at cost of my valuable fps . I keep in mind those options are new to the game but i don't remember to have this issue in other games. Take a look and see if you have any ideas. Be safe! DCS problem.mp4

Hi everyone I was going to test something until I noticed the Hornet has a ghost weapon weight of 130 lbs with following conditions : - no weapon - all pylons removed - 0% gun ammo -0 chaff and 0 flares I noticed it in the mission editor so no track files are needed for verification. - It is good to mention that the M61 weight is not considered as "weapon weight" because internally it is part of an aircraft hence its weight is around 202 lbs not even close to 130 lbs , - [Correct as it is ] I checked the Viper and it had 0 Weapon weight with a clean zero ammo configuration. conclusions : this could be either an error in the mission editor, an error or bug to deduct pylon weights or really an extra dead weight on the aircraft. Hi there, When playing dcs world, i decided id go back to the aircraft i started in, the f15, to have some fun. Flew it for a half an hour or so before closing the game to run errands. However, when i came back and tried to play it, the f15 wont recognize my HOTAS inputs. What's weird is that it can recognize the button presses on the hotas, but not the axis inputs. So for example i can press my dispense chaff, flare, or any other button on my t16000m hotas setup, but it wont recognize the pitch, roll, or throttle axis at all. Also, it flew fine when i flew it before running errands, and i didn't end the game in any way that could harm the pc or its data. (quit to desktop, wait a few min, and then hit shutdown) i've tried deleting and reinstalling the f15, then the entire game, and still no avail. I thought it could be a hotas bug so i flew the f18 and su25t, but ran in to no problems at all. Throttle and stick both worked perfectly fine on the f18 and su25t, but still just wont work for the f15 only. i've tried remapping keys, clearing the axis and reassigning, but nothing works. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Ive tried what seems like everything there is to install this game! I have played DCS for 4-5 years and never had an issue downloading this bad. Everytime I try it says that Server capacity may be limited at the moment. Please, try again later. I have tried for multiple days now. I have completely deleted and reinstalled as well as run the cleanup and repair apps. I have disabled all antivirus including defender and have reset PC multiple times. I have run as Admin and tried installing the stable version as well. Nothing will work, if it doesn't have this error then it downloads for about a minute and then comes back with this error or the curl 6 error. No clue what the issue is. autoupdate_log.txt
