I am so confused.  I know 2.7 was postponed (I thought) until today.  But in @BigNewys Patch Status thread, the last post says "I will update this post to keep you all informed.".  But there has not been any updates in that post.  

However I noticed a post above that, that was from last year (May 2020).  It said "Next update: Planned 14th April 2021 (subject to change)".   At first I didn't notice the year.  I assumed it was an old post from last year because it doesn't say it was edited.  But it must have been edited.  So all this is confusing.. Was there another place where there was a patch status, or is that it?

It’s to everyone’s benefit that the patch is still in the oven. The worst option for us is having ED release the OB before it’s ready.

I am looking forward to the new feature that will come in 2.7,mit will be ready when dev test says it’s ready... and even then...remember this is beta, chances are it’s going to hurt... (no denigration of ED devs intended, just a simple reality ‘pointer’)...

Again, if you're inclined to complain about the patch being delayed, please roll back to right after the new lighting was introduced last year, then come back and report on your experience.

Has there been any footage of flying in & out the new clouds? Even the clouds video didn't show this, at least I didn't notice. Just wondering what the transitions look like in the cockpit.

I think they are solid objects for the time being and your plane will be destroyed if you contact a cloud. Clouds that you can fly through are planned for v3.0, due in Q4 2022.

On some of them (flat ones) you will be able to land, and after stopping rearm option will show up. Not sure if they will have arresting cables for F-18

rearming on the clouds is one thing, but the big question is can I refuel?!?!  You know, ACR? Air to Cloud Refueling ?

You also have to determine whether it's a friendly or enemy held cloud.
