I'd buy a naval F-4 when it comes out, eventually. But I do like the F-4E more. My current hitlist is Mirage 2000, F-15E, Flaming Cliffs, F-4E, F/A-18. Its in german, but you can at least use the autotranslated YT subtitles. Ignore the cheap attempt at Top Gun vibes, but it gives a few interesting glimpses of the F-4s radar screen at work while scanning for /locking a target and the gunsight in action, plus some short but nice air combat maneuvering training scenes . This demonstrates what the radar roughly looks like, but it's from a simulator, also they only go into acquisition not track. Here is a video of the AN/APQ-120 with the DSCG screen, in flight. But wiping out the deck crew might earn some bad attention from the Air Boss

But will it be a separate purchase or bundled with this module further down the line? I really want naval ops so not interested in this first iteration and certainly not buying both if they are single packages (with respect, of course)! TIA

Spurts Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Just missed the memo that Army Air Corps became it's own branch in '47. I agree that the F-4E is the right one to do first because it is once of the most widely used jets in history, but I will end up waiting for the one I can trap. 2
