Confirmed I have the latest VAICOM3.0.5.3) and VoiceAttack (2.1.7), but now, with a loadout of 4 GBU-16's and a pod (on the F-14), when I say "Select Paveways", RIO responds with an "unable" mesage, when I say "select stores" it says there is no current loadout. Even though I'm able to visually verify they are attached, and if I hop in the back and select them, I am able to drop them, but I don't get a talk-on and they don't hit the target. I have reset the LUA as per instructions already as well. Bug, or dumb user?

can you try without the core parking or any editing of the affinity, then attach your dcs log and dxdiag again. dont worry about smt, its AMD's version of hyperthreading ( I wasnt sure what cpu you had )

As the worst pilot in DCS, I can tell you that the MiG-29 can be landed. What I did was watch a video about landing her a number of times in a row. Then I duplicated it to the best of my ability. I took a small bounce, but I came right in. It was beautiful. YOU CAN DO IT!

I thought we were already getting the Iowa class per the Previous PTO assets list before this new list came out? I thought ED even posted pics in one of there posts of a WIP Iowa boat. Please ED add the IOWA back into the final list. -Woog

Thanks PC but this update isn't taking for me, even after doing the lua reset in the VAICOM GUI. After reset and restart, I keep seeing 3.0.4.0 as my version. So I seem to be in the very loop that the lua reset should be avoiding... Any ideas? Much appreciated!

Does this happen with other helicopters too? Open the Game Controller window from the legacy Control Panel and check if you see the same behaviour there as well. Have you tried recalibrating?

А ничего в том FCOM про взлетно - посадочные характеристики по нему нет? Интересует, в первую очередь потребная длина ВПП

As mentioned in another thread in this forum it would be a pity to miss ESFJ, i.e. Sjöbo/Björka which is a Swedish military reserve airfield (roadbase) complete with a main airstrip and reserve roadstrips and dispersed hangars and parking slots for aircraft. Sturup (ESMS) which has been confirmed as part of phase two will be a very nice addition but it's not a military airfield and seldom used as such while Björka would add a realistic base for Swedish military aircraft on this map and it's actually within the given phase 2 border already. Thta's what I thought, yet the CH M270 was out of ammo at the start of my self made mission. That's one of the things I dn't understand, because the regular DCS assets were fully loaded. Same at the CH vessels, they were loaded as well.

I recall watching a demonstration of a Mortar platoon, we were stood well back,(being RAF we were not trusted with things that go bang, or are sharp) while a lot of Army guys were shouting instructions and confirming understanding, then ,BBBBOOMMMM, off they all went, and bracketed this target on a slope some way off. We were impresed. So one of us asked how do they work out, how to hit the target. The SNCO replied it would be difficult in battle to be absolutly accrate, so they used SITFA. So another asked what that meant, and with a straight face the said "Somewhere in that flamin area...or words to that effect. LONG before we had GPS.

I know how to control Hind and flown for a while no issues. Suddenly it started to move rudders all the way to left, by itself. Totally ignores trim and stick Z axis movement. Cyclic holds trim normally. I Double checked special \ Mi24: Pedals auto move is off. No other changes. I recently replaced WinWing and uninstalled their crappy software, could be realtered to that. So removed all the MI24 config, reinstalled module, same. Looking for any ideas, Thank you.

In this day and age since we have such advancements ChatGPT and other AI systems, do you think we can implement a dynamic in game radio comm system? This thing can communicate with you via VOIP or even preselected commands from the radio menu somewhat similar to the Overlord AI we once had but much more realistic and dynamic. You can have them be on their appropriate frequencies and based on ground, tower, TRACON or ARTCC. They can even create dynamic ATIS, AWOS functions based on the weather and conditions, have appropriate static sound effects and even regional accents based on which map it is, etc? Here's an example...

They have been running their business for almost 35 years, can you tell me which other simulation software company has run as long? No, microsoft doesn't count ... their original Flight Sim series ran from 1982 to 2009, and their current FS 2020 series was comissioned to a french software house, with no relation to the prior product, while IL-2 dates from 2001 ... so ED seems pretty sucessful to me.
