  2. I've got a big announcement to make! We have new liveries for the F-15EX, by Vasy! I plan to include three of them in the mod itself, the rest will be available as a separate download in a livery pack! We have the F-15EX Production Line Green, and the two F-15EX prototype liveries 001 and 002!

  6. Nope, none of my assets replaces anything in core DCS. Possibly a conflict. Edit: I should add, there is one exception (not relevant here though), which is the RWR and HARMID definitions.

  7. Thanks! I noticed this stuff. So, I fixed as best I could the entire top rotor assembly. Took it all apart, and re-assembled it. They should send those Soviet mechanics in the Siberia wonderland! It looks much better! Fixed the spin direction.. I also lowered her a bit to spawn closer to the tarmac But She has a slight "bounce" upon spawn, which settles down quickly. Must be a collision issue. Either that, or, "Don't come knockin if the helo is a rockin!" I had forgotten how cool this mod was! Thanks for getting me fix her. More will be done as needed. I do see the stretcher still works! And you can load troops! (Drop them like bombs!   13. It looks like the problem comes from the wingtip launcher rails, and only them. They always get torn apart first, which causes wing structural damage, then wings eventually break if the stick is not released soon enough (or if the aircraft speed is too high). I don't think launcher rails should be torn off like that: they don't support the whole weight of the aircraft, that's the wings job. Issue reported. Wish me luck.   16. Всем привет!, 15 лет ДКС!, предлагаю провести маленький, веселый, и главное добрый конкурс 18+))), если коллектив разработчиков поддержит возможно и призы. Суть простая, я прикреплю сюда трек демонстрационного полета с грузом на внешней подвески., там все просто))), на авианосце три контейнера, рядом три платформы, нужно поставить контейнеры на платформы, груз в центр платформы ставить необязательно, главное чтобы груз не провалился под платформу, наглядный пример две картинки груз на краю засчитывается, груз который провалился под платформу, не засчитывается! все просто))) Желающие поучаствовать, скачивают трек, при просмотре трека в самом начале, нажимают Esc, выбирают в меню взять управления, после получения управления, не торопясь настраивайте вид кому как удобно, можно слить топливо там около 200 литров, выключить все что мешает, выбираете через F6 любой груз, для удобства подцепа груза используйте игровую индикацию, далее по готовности взлетаете по вертолетному!!!, разворачиваться и рулить по палубе к грузу, до взлета запрещено! После того как вы взлетите игра отметит Ваше время взлета(это первая ключевая точка), далее в любой последовательности берите грузы и ставите их, на платформы какие хотети(один груз на одну платформу), после установки третьего(крайнего) груза, возвращаетесь на авианосец и садитесь по вертолетному на палубу(в любое место на палубы), игра отмечает время посадки, после чего, выходите в меню, в окне "Дебрифинг" будет указано время взлета и посадки. Высчитываем так на глаза, в уме.., время чистого полета, на примере демонстрационного полета скрин окна "Дебрифинг" посадка(9:46:35) минус взлет(9:35:36) получаем 10 минут 59 секунд. Игрок у которого ушло меньше времени на постановку 3 грузов(без провалов), опубликовывает здесь, в виде сообщения(если никто не против,в этом разделе форума) свой трек с указанием времени полета, Все последующие публикуемые треки должны быть меньше по времени, игрок который опубликовал трек раньше другова, с одинаковым временем победил, время на конкурс зависит от участников... можно и пару недель полетать.., хотя может есть профессионалы завтра слетают за 5 минут., и тогда расходимся))) приз я не обещал))) В треке я не спешил, летал аккуратно грузы ставил примерно в центр(это не дает преимуществ, главное поставить на зеленую платформу).., время полета 10:59 легко перебить... PS. из трека не надо, делать миссию, потом пытаться менять погоду, температуру, давления, снимать створки, укорачивать трос внешней подвески, уменьшать массу грузов, прикручивать триггеры к платформам, и так далее.., полет простой и легкий.., ну что пробуем ??? правила простые главное честно. ми-8 форум деморолик грузы.trk

  17. ah I see, green meaning eco? Thanks again fellas, I’ve plugged the charging lead directly into the headset and hopping that works. Having to do dad stuff so really hopping it’s charged a bit by this evening. Again big thanks for all the help and advice, without which I’d currently be sitting in a small puddle of tears.

  20. I use 94 for the Tomcat, as it happens to simulate the position of the canopy bows the best on my screen, from my sitting position. Don't buy into that whole your eyes see focused only 60 degree ahead. You don't see in your day to day life with horse-blinders over your eyes. Your peripheral vision is mostly responsible for movement detection, and that easily goes to 120 degrees, and at the extremes even over 180. Plus, if you restrict yourself to 60 degrees or less, you end up looking around like 1989 Tim Burton's Batman. With your neck instead of with your eyes, which is just.... biologically wrong. In the end, find what works for you, and stick with it. I chose 94, as from where i am sitting, it makes the virtual cockpit feel most natural. Like a.... an extension of my room if you would. It feels most intuitive when i need to (still) turn my head to look for certain indicator or instrument. It still doesn't beat a good VR (especially the lack of depth perception and closure), but heck, i'm too poor be able to afford one. Not just the device, but the machine to run it. On top of it, the best current VRs are just starting to approach to visual quality of a good screen. So who knows, maybe by the time i retire...

  24. When or where was this ever stated? The current dimensions do match pretty well with current SAT imagery, it´s just that the hangars are the wrong size and/ or are placed incorrectly. Spots 120-137 are all drive through and large enough for both, the F-15 & the F-16 (IRL that is).

  25. Some recommendations if you start learning BFM with another player: Despite my butterfly set comment: start with a couple offensive/defensive sets. Don't jump immediately into high aspect. Learn how to do a turn circle entry. Learn how to execute a break turn. Focus first on identifying cues: Is this a rate or radius fight? Who's winning? What are your relative energy states? etc. Carry rear aspect missiles. It'll prevent bad habits; will teach you about jamming weapons engagement and escape windows, and you'll never actually fly a clean jet anyway. Start at 15,000 feet altitude minimum. It'll teach you much more about available G/AoA and aircraft handling and allows room for maneuvering in the vertical. You're gonna be trading altitude for position very rapidly... Knock it off and reset once you reach the deck. You're allowed 1 or 2 full circles down there but there's not much to learn beyond that. You'll have plenty mistakes to review before you even reach that point... Do a search for "F-16C ROKAF employment manual", the BFM chapter there is an absolute gold mine for hands-on, practical training material. Air-start, sure. But I'd recommend doing so in either perch or butterfly positions as it will do wonders for spotting, energy management, initiating lead turns etc. There's a reason "fight's on" is called at the turn-in... not at the merge. Air-start in a 10 miles head to head just gives a lot of room for "competitive" habits like entering the merge at mach stupid and pulling it into the stratosphere. It can be a lot of fun but serves no training purpose other than "Speedy thing go higher".

  30. I see. I will say, you can't really compare PCVR to standalone though. Red Matter 2 does VRS foveated rendering (same thing OpenXR Toolkit does) but it is in standalone, with a much weaker GPU, so there are a lot more bottlenecks to address. I think several have confirmed that VRS on fast GPUs like 4090 is just not helping that much compared to lower-end RTX cards. I'm aware that a few users are only seeing their GPU bottleneck replaced by a CPU or vertex shading bottleneck with quad views, however it seems to be a very small minority of users. The only solution to this problem would be a better implementation of the rendering in the engine, such as use of instanced rendering (DCS does not do instanced rendering at all even for stereo AFAIK), usage of geometry shaders or better command list handling (requires D3D12 or Vulkan). It sounds however that ED has little interest in improving quad views support, as shown by the 5 different bugs that have been brought up to them since January, and none of them have been acknowledged or addressed, even the most basic ones like the blatant violation of OpenXR spec and the incorrect submission of FOV data in MT... these are like, 30 minutes each to produce a fix

  33. I decided to go and search for the airfield, taking off from O'Higgins. Field's a bit short, so the key lies in a good approach. Let's put the rubber onto the first few feet of the strip. Landing was short'ish but not too critical. Let's see if we can squeeze her out again! Single seat, 2600lbs of fuel. Well, I basicly rotated her into the pedal-shaker at 100KIAS and she leapt into the air, just making the opposite river-bank by a couple of feet. I guess retracting the gear right away did help. Back to O'Higgins. It's a nice little airfield and it will be cool for C-130 ops. Hopefully RAZBAM can extend the F10 map/MP to include the airfield, so it can be used by mission-builders!

  34. ну например под вмв... прикинь, война шла восточнее ла-манша? а вообще у Кавказа был Крым, куда его отпилили? и не надо вот этих, вы же понимаете почему его нет))) глупости, у нас на карте гос границ нет, этот Крым в игре могут делить хоть итальянцы с японцами... смысл его убирать? ну и раз современная техника упирается в доки и законодательство, то что на счет ил-2, миг-3, як-9 ну и тд и тп. зачем нам две модификаиции фоки если из красных ничего нет???

Hello, everyone I have sent out the Russian destroyer Admiral Ushakov for testing. Once testing is complete I will release her if there are no major issues which there shouldn't be. Since there are only two of them in Service. I will see if I can create a livery for the Russian destroyer Nastoychivy. Hull number 610.
