  1. That was just separate extra comment from me Yes Mig-29 is that kind of rocket, that it easily blows or jam whole gear setup just by putting too much throttle
  2. As I have mentioned, in other topic, I kinda learned to fly with hornet with your campaigns. (after over a year of fc3 planes, and some free plane mods made on top of ´em). I also promised to buy Persian Lion 2, when I have played the others. Now after few months, I finally bought it. The first mission brief is actually on, on my other screen while I´m writing this. Have simple question / notice. If / when there comes Maverick IR´s on moving targets + ATFLIR pod -> ATFLIR does not give/pass any movement data to Mav IR´s. SO is there any way I can switch the pod to ENLINT? I love ATFLIR, and would use it full on all the time, but that is only problem with it. (Dont know if there is any moving targets + mav ir´s in the campaing, but still asking. Dont want go to war with possibility of not working IR + moving target :). ) If there is some way around this prob, inside ATLIFR I would really love to here that! But while waiting for that from someone: Is there any way for me to thumble around .lua´s or something to switch the pod? (I know this can be annoying when somebody is asking "ketchup for just made good meal" sry about that Big thanks for your efforts Badger! Really love how you designed the progress of using the Hornets systems. I truly recommend ALL Badgers campaigns, they are really good, even for beginners! For example: if one knows basics of hornet, but has not used the just tutorial fast learned A/G systems of Hornet. These campaigns makes you use them in nice order, in a way that the experience still is there. The missions itself are very good made, and have not noticed any errors in Badgers campaings. (no after update weidomobs etc..) Me myself made hornet tutorials, some qualifications, and then just rumbled those campaings until I succeeded to get it right! And I got it!
  3. Thank you, sir! - And yes -I mean/ment "NWS OFF" (the frontwheel stops turning / Nosewheel steering off (NWS). Anyway this answered my question. (Like with Hornet it is nice to take NWS off before high speed on the runway (can use rudder, mig compensates this "wobblyness" more nicely I think, from very beginning, so the hornet is OFC different thing.. ) . I am very keen to blow the tires of Mig.
  4. Just was deleting some trials, and for first time any mod just before the post. Sry I was reading only the very beginning of this topic. Answered the question, just because the timing - I was just looking info how to use it (module manager deleting mods, multiple), and used it.

  6. Thank you for these! Yeah. It will go with binds. THOUGH there was some controls in the radar I did not know one can do, like TDC in the top of Scanzone (xxx degrees) brings up menu where on can pick scanzone (Degrees) of choise. ED should really put this to waypoints also, in HSI. (Or at least I havent managed to change em in that way). But yeah, it is not a hard job to bind em in different buttons. (and still i have the scanzone also bind, though found that one mentioned.. , it is not fast enough for me.. (because I am so fast ;D NOT) Have a very nice weekend everyone. What comes to F-16 it is very nice to pick up displays of choise and change the display but after that mostly : "10 then goto bind buttons" ,)
  7. There are some airfields that gets my old pc from 30->0,00000001 fps - 7 fps Though have only trial version NOW. I think there is something in the lightning. It is clearly the city that "jams" (it does not jam, it is just slow as hell) computer. (that does not happen in Caucasus, Nevada, Persian Gulf or Marianas Map I am having also). Havent found any setting that would stop that. OFC my fps gets lower in the cities etc happening a lot, but in Syria map it just makes me end the mission where in ohters my old pc gets lowest ot ~20-22 (yes I know it is low, but I can manage it. Still there is clearly some "pinpoint" style "places" in syria map that makes my pc <profanity> in its pants. It would be even nicer if it just crashed, but no, it is just SLOW. (unplayable for me..)(some places=whole map)
  8. How do I change waypoints in HSI. I can slew it (put the diamond in it) but there is no any cursor etc. What can, and how can I actually change em in. Or is it just only in IRL? Can I do it in DCS?. My maingoal here is can I change waypoints designate em etc with hotas WITHOUT binding the display buttons emselves?
  9. Is there somewhere some simple list for HOTAS commands in different screens. Dont need targed pods etc, but specially that HSI.. Can I control it, mostly CHANGE WAYPOINT with hotas in DCS? Somekind of simple listing "HOTAS commands in F/A-18C (DCS) sensors / displays". OFC i can bind the buttons itself, and have done that what comes to for example TWS "auto/man" button.

Just select multiple mods from list (module managments last page inside game)-> then select from down "delete selected" Dont know if this option has just got inside the game, but atleast for nowdays it is possible to delelte multiple mods. (So instead of clicking that recycling bin icon in mod manager, on their left side is a clickable box.. Well you get it when you look it now
  11. Seems logical. I bet those are IRL nice, or WAS at least. And when there are big strike group doing multiple runovers, then it could be good (just not to hit to each other.. etc.? )
  12. Could someone JUST please explain simply and concretly what and how to set altitudes on coldstart with F/A-18C, to get my autodropped bombs not to fall 500m short. Information also about effect / meaning /reading and setting the "standby attitude meter ("SAI") (just the meaning of it for the plane itself, and does it effect somehow to something else to the meter it self. (on cold start, why not while flying itself. Does THAT effect somewhere else than the attitude meter itself? "Uncage by turning the knob". Turning it to "where"? Does it take its place automatically or what am I actually doing by turning the knob and uncaging it? Let it "float"? There reads also in knob it self "pull to cage", but dont understand how that works, or more precisle how i should "uncage the stndby attitude meter" #24 on checklist, and whats the meaning of that.) Thank You. And ps. Sry for complicated question. My English is not so good, so I have to "go around" some grammar "some" ;D
  13. Yeah it was on place. When flew right over, the waypoint is excactly where it is supposed to be (on the screen of tgt pod... BUT there was one thing, i set the waypoints height to 25ft (flag shows 0, surrounding map/ground ~25ft) from 0ft ,but that is so little that it was not about that at all..) Thanks a lot for this. Learned something new. It is just ATFLIR "looking like" it is "over" target, as I wondered and as you said.
  14. Hi! Thanks for great campaing so far! Really like radiotalks in this. I´m pretty new what comes to settings in mission editing. How / where can the tooltips be turned back on (yes I know this sounds weird, as many ppl usually want them off in VR.. I would like em on, just as i´m new, it just helps at night time. Some .lua file ? #2 Have a question about mission 4. Have ED done something to coordinate system? There is clearly target STRAIGHT in the waypoint 4 inside mission editor, I even edited waypoint to accurate coordinates of that redflag i the middle of bunker / target area. STILL targed pod in mission itself goes like half mile "over" the target. Is it just ATFLIR from long distances that "looks" like the target marker is behind / over target. (As i slew it on top of the target, and bombs away, they fall short. Is it just me being noob? #3 If so, that i´m just noob, is there a way to get targets from a distance (this #3 is not just for the campaing, just good situation to ask..) so that the marker would not drift so much? Or is it just something that I have to live with, and correct when getting closer? I will next try to drop the bombs straight to waypoint itself. It might aswell be just atflir "drifting" in long distances... (so it just looks like it is not over the bunker area from distance). Maby I will delete SA´s from ground so that i can fly over the target and look does it still look the same. Cant go too low (as you well know.. )

  16. CCIP + VIS / PRE CCRP is good enough for me. I understand the value of these, but... Maby some nice canyon pullup manouver. But yeah kinda same that HARM pullups in hornet etc. They are nice to have, but mostly ppl just fire their missiles / bombs with the easiest way, (TOO mode in my HN example). These are specially good when there is many planes doing the strike. One can design own route for every plane in the wing etc etc.. SO they are not useless, but in dcs, nah i dont really have dedication to click the mouse, just to get few reticles to show me how to fly
  17. Why I CANT change JDAM fuze mode from "AIR" -> "GND" AT ALL? Just bought an f-16, but it seems that that has worked before? How about now? Only thread I found about this BUG (*waving to* @Eagle Dynamics ) was in reddit, which was about update this year, if I understood correctly. (01/2023) How is this now?

I just switched from 20 years old saitek x45 to tm16000m fcs, as it seemed kinda only high resolution stick and throttle there was under 300 bucks (with that many buttons in the throttle, with even 8 analog axis on throttle, that is also something is hard to compete with any set in this price lvl. But enough of my Hype, I´m just so goddam happy after deadzone of 10 clicks But I was thinking also about the curves. With saitek x45 that 25 seemed kinda good, but with this accuracy it seems i could use little more easier curves. Have you guys stayed in 15 still , as and if u still use this hotas. Just asking "way", for best experience (mostly f/a 18 ), as im totally new to stick with this accuracy after 20 years of mechanical playing / clunching / sensors travelling self side to side, with no word CENTER known with stick ;D Its amazing when i can put ZERO to deadzone. BTW how much / fast have your guys t.16000m´s have worn what comes to the mechanics of the stick. Does the center start to play in some time of use? (do you HAVE to add deadzones much etc..) Just interested how long this set lasts, OFC I understand its cheap so its cheap. Still asking. I think it might be even more clever to buy cheap BUT quality what comes to sensors and buttons, if beginner with hard use. Im more relaxed when "worning" 100 bucks hotas towards 1000 bucks hotas If it brakes, I will just buy a new one.. This is something that many ppl seem not to think as they buy HOTASES. Me my self have also wingwing in the mail, but after couple of days using this, really maked me wonder, that is it really worth the money to put ~1000 dollars for full hotas, as someday they will worn also. This is something I think i will target my attention to later on... Just maked me wonder price / quality level, like balancing with price / TWR ;D
  19. Just bought one, and actually made a "ticket" for thrustmaster about that very same problem. No asnwer yet, but seems that many ppl have asked this over the internet. For some there is some mechanical play in the axis, not much but enough that before the centering spirng is put some good pressure, the light goes on. Thats actually because the sensor wors fine, but the mechanics are just "clumpy" what comes to plastic. You can easily test this by putting your finger on the top of the stick and mine leans immediatly to left 2-4 mm. Not much but enough to HALL sensor to give it a feedback. Thats more like centering problem in mechanics, which ofc should be in condition cause this is hard centering stick, where the center should be center otherwise no use for centering. Afterall, my problem goes away with 1click of deadzone in DCS so it is not so much problem with flying itself, it just feels kinda annoying Also some ppl have claimed for the moving wrist rest (no matter how tight the screw is, it is still moving) (the rest that can be moved aroud, by losening that one screw). The moving of that rest is actually normal, there is only a plastic cave that the screw goes into and simply stops it from rotating, but doestn really "tighten" it. But as I mentioned this last one is more or less in every stick, many ppl just doesnt even notice it, before somebody mentions it (sry :D). Afterall it might be agood thing the rest gets to roll littlebit, as it finds its place. But that axis thing is more annoying. It seems it has been more likely to have it even, with newer t.16000m´s. But STILL with all these little "this is crappy" this is way better than my old x45 was. Ok I liked more not hard centering, but I wanted accurate sensors, and somekind of throttle that does not go burner on burner off burner on just for keeping hand on it like my 20 year old saitek was About a year i looked for these under 200buck HOTASes, and it was kinda obvious very soon that I will buy T.16000m. There is NONE near that level what comes to sensors of it, under 200 bucks with throttle. VBK sells it NBX stick with around 150dollars, but it is only a stick... (good product though what i have heard, but needs mounting , as it is just basically the bottom box under the VBK stick. The throttle in tm16000m is not so smooth, but i like its buttons / locations very much. Ok they are clunky, but still it is cheapest not total basket case throttle one can get. I havent yet had problems with throtttles "stiffnes" as i lubricated it in first place, and put velcro under it (I knew what was coming with low mass.) But also it is low enough to use with my old leatherchairs armwrest. I find the long movement very comfortable, as not so smooth as with it was even with old saitek x45 BUT TM is way more accurate, what comes to sensors resolution also in the throttle. The sensors are in this hotas kinda perfect, its just <profanity>ty mechanics and cheap plastic, and "fast" finishing what makes it kinda "bad looking". Sensors, at least for me and couple of friends keep giving good numbers, but its just those cheap mechanics that start to fail kinda fast. If the sticks mounting was metal it would be total gamechanger, with low priceup for TM. Still i think i will buy one more of these hotases as one can still get em very cheap. If it lives even a year, I am happy with it... The rig high end stuff has to wait, I just cant fit em in my apartment right now in a way that living would be nice also... (Living? Life?)
  20. Oh. EDIT: Play is the right word for "clampiness" (me and my Finnish-English :D). But yeah you guys understand what i mean. It makes losen mechanical movement, which is not controlled by any mechanism. It plays. And this is after kinda ZERO usage. As mechanical engineer, i can maby even bet that this is there more ore less, by luck in every stick. It is just some appliement / coupling that is not put so accurate everytime in the place, in the factory. Or then just the plastic ball etc, mounting itself. Y-axis has really ZERO play in its movement. It stays in the center even with harder force and does not play / clamp in anywhere, but the x-axis. Now when i thumbled with the play, it even seems to get littlebit bigger. As I said, it is not much, but so much that it even puts the light on. Some times it takes that as a movement sometimes not, but it puts the light on every time, which is kinda weird, as the light is supposed to light with the sensor... I posted a "case" / ticket to Thrustmaster. Lets see if they "back up every users accuracy" as it read in the box
  21. Just bought yesterday a new tm 16000m. It has exactly this same "clamping" (not much maby just 1-2mm on wrist level. it is very little but its there. Have use it like hour, so I really wonder is it with all the sticks more or less. Y-axis does not have it. But it still centers the stick when not adding any pressure to the stick, but the stick clearly "clamps" a littlebit before it snaps to level where it starts the movement on the left (and the movement can be seen in the meter inside the clamp ) Really annoying as the stick is good as hell in all the other ways. But now when I noticed that, not so sure anymore. If somebody knows today how to fix these please tell me. I bet if i go to shop and say that to reseller, he just says, "its cheap stick". Maby i will contact straihgt to TM and ask about this. clearly there is not same thing with any other axis or button or anything. I really hoped that i would find that this is much seen error in the stick as they are about to sell out in Finland, but seems not? It really cant be because of use, as I unpacked it yesterday, and as I said have used it an hour or so after that.

  24. Yeah thanks. Seems so. I actually do have to undesignate it from WP designate and then click new point, it just seems to jump last designated target. Which is kinda logical though
  25. Just F-22, Eurofighter, Gripen and "Swedish military assets pack". F-22 has had some tunes, but nothing really on DCS program folders itself. But deleted those and repaired dcs. F-22 enchancemenet mod goes to a2a_missiles.lua (not sure if file name´s correct but no matter here.. just an example). That and few other .lua were modified by f22 enchancement mod. BUT have not tried raven one yet. Maby I will do it tonight. (tried again i Mean). In meantime played trough other campaigs. Raven one actually could now be more of my skill level, when played in meantime 4 hornet campaigns. This gets interesting, while i have new HOTAS (cheap though) in the mail on its way. I have learned everyhing in DCS with 20 years old SAITEK x45, with huge "clunkiness" in the middle. Have to use 10nm long deadzones. There is zero accuracy in current setup. When that new TM comes in mail, goin to be a goddam Maverick! Interestig times..
