Dabei warst Du ja vor gut einem Jahr noch dagegen, dass man auch nur in Erwägung zieht, ob Heatblur auch mal irgendwann eine F-4 entwickelt, da ja Deiner Meinung nach erst der Eurofighter fertig gemacht werden muss: Ist doch schön, dass solche Projekte auch parallel laufen können und wir jetzt doch in absehbarer Zeit eine F-4 bekommen.

As a mission designer you can/must assign a callsign to aircraft in the mission. You can also assign bort numbers for aircraft, but they can be changed in an MP mission in the loading screen. Callsigns cannot be changed. In order to make use of realistic, individual numerical code callsigns as used in the Warsaw Pact in MP missions (where the mission designer does not know in advance which pilot is selecting which aircraft) could you please add the option in the rearm/refuel screen to also change the three-digits code callsign to have proper interaction with AI ATC and GCI (at least for REDFOR aircraft where pilot IDs are the callsigns)

That seems to be a long-standing issue. I remember seeing this at least one year ago. I always thought it was related to effective range figures for AP rounds, as the AI tanks would also use HE rounds only at distances > 4000m.

I don't have the campaign, but it appears to me your IP is telling you to go around for a second approach and therefore orders to set full throttle (=max RPM) Looks like a condition for a trigger was not met...

It does, but it was introduced way before ED came up with multicrew, so PC implemented their own technical solutions which degraded with the eventual updates of DCS and are now pretty much defunct AFAIK.

Damage by mortars also seems very random. Explosions very close to a unit can have no effect at all, while explosions farther away will destroy a unit from time to time.

Their An-2 and PZL Wilga for FSX were fantastic. I would have loved to see those in DCS. Sure, no combat aircraft, but still as plausible as an I-16 in DCS and maybe even better than the unfinished Yak-52 which is also lots of fun to fly in DCS.

Aiming circle certainly looks like the one in the F-4. See video here for comparison (F-4F). A wet dream if we really got a (gun) F-4 Phantom in DCS...

@OverStratos Can we have an "End of 2021 progress update" on the MiG-23? What's the current status?

Totally agree. Being one of the oldest modules, it might suffer a lot from spaghetti code. A total makeover would be great, the MiG-21 as one of the most iconic aircraft would definitely deserve it. And yes, I'd be willing to pay for that, if they get the avionics and the FM right.

Plus having the option to perform AAR with the F1 is a cool additional feature.
