It does, but it was introduced way before ED came up with multicrew, so PC implemented their own technical solutions which degraded with the eventual updates of DCS and are now pretty much defunct AFAIK.

Damage by mortars also seems very random. Explosions very close to a unit can have no effect at all, while explosions farther away will destroy a unit from time to time.

Their An-2 and PZL Wilga for FSX were fantastic. I would have loved to see those in DCS. Sure, no combat aircraft, but still as plausible as an I-16 in DCS and maybe even better than the unfinished Yak-52 which is also lots of fun to fly in DCS.

Aiming circle certainly looks like the one in the F-4. See video here for comparison (F-4F). A wet dream if we really got a (gun) F-4 Phantom in DCS...

Totally agree. Being one of the oldest modules, it might suffer a lot from spaghetti code. A total makeover would be great, the MiG-21 as one of the most iconic aircraft would definitely deserve it. And yes, I'd be willing to pay for that, if they get the avionics and the FM right.

Plus having the option to perform AAR with the F1 is a cool additional feature.

The download link in the first post to the RC6 version of the manual is dead. The manual in my mods folder (updated with the latest DCS OB update it seems) doesn't say anything about RC6, but on page 13 it says "The latest version of this manual is 1.1.0 (XX/04/2021)". Is that the RC6 version?

Not really. I tend to find the label PM (pilot monitoring) misleading. Sure, he is monitoring the pilot flying to crosscheck, but also works comms, checklists and so on, which the PF doesn't. There's more involved than just "watching the other guy/gal fly the plane", we can speak of two different tasks here.

I can't believe someone really thinks a western 1980s RWR would only show search OR track radar, but not both, when every other same-era RWR does just that, where the search button let's you display both. But looking at the long bug list that has never been addressed by ED, I have pretty much given up on the F5. It will not get any improvements any more.
