Probably meant to say from ED? :dunno:

Yeah, that was my assumption, too.

The update mentioned that the Mi24 would be the "next helicopter" to come to DCS. Does this mean it will be released before the Kiowa? That would be surprising - the Kiowa is already being demo'd on livestreams and we haven't seen an exterior model for the Hind...

It's the order of the helicopters from the ED and I don't think Third Party is included

The DCS Mosquito is sure going to look good flying over those white cliffs :-D

If the channel map releases this year then 2020 should be a great year for WW2 fans.

Was said in last newsletter that the P-47 would release along with a WWII map, and some time ago that the P-47 would release Q1 2020. So I guess we can assume that The Channel Map releases then too.

So I guess DCS : The Channel Map is not an extended version of DCS : The Normandie Map ?

Too bad but I suppose the reasoning behind this is because each map is meant to cover a different period of WWII...

Normandy map has build by Ugra Media 3rd party, the Channel map has build by the ED map team.

Detling?

With Detling included, London is just a few minutes away...

Could this be true?

If this is separate from Normandy, as against an extension to (which I’d be happy to pay for), then it’s a bit of an odd way to do things.

The DCS engine still has some limitations. That is why the map does not merge. This must be resolved when exiting the world map.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

I would pay 70 - 80 Euro for a nice weather add-on, maybe even more

For a flight simulator / combat / weather... clouds.. is very important, imo

The Hind was already teased by Wags (prematurely, as after it the engine found missing flight dynamics features in helicopters and requires fixing all of them) if I remember correctly, it was the F-5 video, in same the Yak-52 was as well teased just before release. The yes Yak was at the left side on start, and Hind was at right side at end of taxiing.

It was the famous "What is that Hind doing here?" phrase.
