Status of C-101CC

Has the C-101CC version been released? Is it still on the way or is it never coming?

 

I cannot find a recent status, just emails trails mentioning that its expected soon, the CC navigational Developer is on vacation etc.

There hasn't been a recent update but the CC is definitely coming. AvioDev put out a nice demo video a few months ago showing off the advanced flight model and the weapon systems so they are in the last legs of development but no set ETA yet.

Both are available in the mission editor and can be assigned as clients. I don't own it though, so I cannot verify whether it's actually usable at present. I came here specifically to find an answer to that question, and am still not 100% sure :P

No, unfortunately, neither the AFM or CC version are ready yet. Chizh from ED recently hinted that they were coming soon so that is a positive sign.

That's a bit disingenuous given we don't hear about the CC in newsletters or anywhere else for that matter. Unless you've followed the regression of this module over the past few years I think you can be forgiven for having no idea what's happening with it.

+1. What is going on? It's been really quiet for a while... I still do no regret I got this module all those years ago, but regular updates on progress are expected. A few months ago there was a lot of activity and videos, but now nothing? :cry:

Thanks the Lord :) ... I was getting worried by Aviodev .. looking forward to testing it, and lets hope that it translates in more units sold, so that Aviodev can fund the development of the Mirage F-1 :D

I totally missed that tidbit reading the newsletter. Glad I caught it here.

 

Really cannot wait for the AFM to finally be available to us, making this the second quality trainer in DCS next to the L-39. I hope there will be some adequate training missions as well to make the most out of instrument navigation from the western perspective.
