European Based 16th Air Expeditionary Wing Recruits F-16 Pilots Who We Are? 16th Air Expeditionary Wing is a small, but crucial part of CJTF-13 Batallion (EU Milsim Battalion). Battalion is aiming for the most realistic and immersive virtual experience in TAW DCS, featuring Fighter Jet, helicopter and Control Squadrons. We follow real life procedures as closely as possible, we use strict radio communications and train HARD to get to this high level of virtual flying! This type of flight simming is not for everyone, because it requires a certain type of mindset, fierce dedication and motivation to do it right. If you are looking for relatively short, action packed missions which can be played without much in-depth planning and preparation, then the CJTF-13 is NOT the right place for you. 16th Air Expeditionary Wing divides in two F-16 squadrons: RNLAF 313 “SCHERPGETAND” The RNLAF 313 Squadron is one of two dedicated F-16C squadrons within the Combined Joint Task Force-13 (CJTF-13). Although it is a multi-role squadron, the primary focus of the 313 is on air-to-ground operations. The squadron specializes in various air-to-ground tasks and tactics, including Destruction of Enemy Air Defenses (DEAD), strike missions, air interdiction (AI), close air support (CAS), and strike coordination and reconnaissance (SCAR). The 313 Squadron is adept at striking a variety of targets in different threat environments. PolAF 6 Fighter Squadron The 6th Fighter Squadron (6th FS) is a dedicated F-16 squadron within the Combined Joint Task Force-13 (CJTF-13). The squadron primarily focuses on Force Protection and Air-to-Air taskings. Specializing in tasks such as Combat Air Patrol (CAP) and Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD), the 6th FS is proficient in defending airspace and neutralizing aerial threats. The squadron's expertise ensures it can effectively safeguard friendly forces and achieve air superiority in various operational environments. Our Schedule The CJTF-13 hold its weekly events on Sundays @ 1945 CE(S)T (Summer Time 1745Z, Winter Time 1845Z) and Thursdays @ 2030 CE(S)T (Summer Time 1830Z, Winter Time 1930Z) Our Requirements In order to apply for one of F-16 our squadrons, make sure you are meeting our requirements: Being PRO-ACTIVE, willing to read and learn documents and perfect your skills in your own time, outside of regular training events Able to fly in formation, and able to execute Air to Air Refuel (AAR) in fair weather Basic experience using Navigation, Combat Systems and Weapons Experience with using SRS (Simple Radio) and Basic knowledge of ATC Communication Able to execute an Overhead Break together with proper Airbase procedures Able to speak, read and understand english Using TrackIR or a similar system, or Virtual Reality Owning F-16, Syria and Persian Gulf maps (No Free Trials!) Among other requirements, this stands alone, as most common potential disqualifier: Our applicant must be able to attend at least 50% of our events in given month. We strongly believe, that consistency and tenaciousness are keys to success If you are unable to match few of those requirements, don't give up and make sure, that you are fierce in your willing to improve in short time with or without help of our instructors. Being able to learn is The quality, that we want to see in our pilots! How to apply? In order to apply, visit our discord and ask about F-16 recruitment for either RNLAF 313 or PolAF 6 FS in public chat. Our drill instructor will reach you and open private recruitment thread, guiding you through all next steps. While you are waiting for thread to be opened, feel free to visit our Website and explore more about us Website: https://tawdcs.org/battalion/cjtf Discord: https://discord.com/invite/tawdcs

The 335th ‘Chiefs’ traditionally is DCAF’s specialised air to air squadron, currently operating the F-15E Strike Eagle and embracing the immense air to ground capabilities the platform offers. Thanks to the incredible power of the F-15E’s -229 engines, APG-70 and load carrying capacity, the Chiefs have the ability to stay on station longer, fly higher and faster than any other type in DCAF’s roster. If you are interested in rigorous training, getting a comprehensive air to air understanding as well as a solid air to ground skillset, being part of complex operations, immersive experiences, and getting the best out of what DCS has to offer, this is the squadron for you. By the end of the training syllabus , you will be able to operate as a wingman in a flight, execute fourship tacform and BVR in any weather, at any time of day; all without datalink. You will be trained in both DCA and OCA fundamentals in order to tailor the squadron’s air to air tasking according to the mission at hand; including an appreciation of ACM execution. Air to air refuelling, day or night, will be the norm. We also operate within our secondary air to ground role, executing complex profiles planned meticulously and chosen specifically to be best suited to the threat environment be it pre-planned JDAM strikes or 200ft TFR ingresses with pop-up strikes at night. The squadron currently consists of 6 regular pilots and is looking to expand our roster with a handful of new cadets in anticipation of further operations in August to Early October. The 335th is a very tight knit community that is passionate about what it does and its role in DCAF. We strive to constantly develop ourselves, not only from the baseline of training, but to progress further with flight leading, instructor qualifications, and mission planning for the overarching DCAF organisation. If you are interested in being part of a highly motivated, well organised and ambitious squadron and do your part, the 335th is a prime choice. If you work hard in training, be assured that you will find your time in DCAF greatly rewarding. Applicants will join for an introductory talk as to what we do, and what is expected from one another. Subject to your introductory talk, you will be invited for some checkrides to assess your initial skill level to decide whether we want to take you on for our training program . After the introductory talk, we will give you all the necessary resources to succeed and invite you to undertake checkrides to ensure your competence at operating the Strike Eagle, to then build tactical skills on top of existing airframe knowledge. This will include a flying ability assessment with an assessor from startup to shutdown, basic manoeuvres, aircraft handling and air to air refuelling. In addition you will be asked to play a custom mission and submit a tacview and trackfile of your basic combat performance(we aren’t looking for procedures but more to ensure that you are comfortable with using the airframe in basic combat). Upon final review among 335th recruitment officers, if you are accepted we will provide you access to our comprehensive training syllabus, and you will begin formal training based on yours and instructor availability. Training sessions will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the off season, and when operations resume training will be on Tuesdays and every other Thursday, however, additional sessions are possible for those keen to develop skills further if instructor availability permits 335th Basic training program consists of: Domestics Visual circuits – touch and goes around the airfield with controller, Departures & Arrivals – flying in and out of the aerodrome traffic zone, Day and Night Formation flying & TACFORM Day and Night Air to Air Refuelling Basic Air to Ground Unguided Air to Surface Precision Guided Air to Surface Within Visual Range Air to Air Basic Fighter Manoeuvres Air Combat Manoeuvring Beyond Visual Range Air to Air All Weather Intercept theory Beyond Visual Range timelines Defensive Counter Air BVR modifications Offensive Counter Air BVR modifications Once these skills are met, you will be a full fledged member of the Chiefs, with your own Jet and Nose art. You will then be eligible to fly on operations as well as take part in additional training sessions with the rest of the squadron tofurther develop your skills. A note on the ongoing state of the Strike Eagle As the Elephant in the room, and as all players of DCS are likely aware, the future of the Strike Eagle by Razbam Simulations is in limbo. The current squadron direction is to not abandon the incredible multirole capabilities this airframe provides in its current state. In the long term, future modules with similar capabilities may be considered upon release, however, it is our sincerest hope that development and maintenance of the Strike Eagle will be resumed in the near future. If you would like to get in contact to find out more about the 335th specifically and what we do before applying, please get in contact with any of our recruitment officers on Discord: https://discord.gg/dcaf Sfowi Seba If you would like to apply, please follow the links below: https://forum.dcs.world/clubs/page/92-apply-socials/ We look forward to meeting you soon, 335th Exec Team Wampum!

EUROPEAN BASED - CJTF-13 - JOINT TASK FORCE (Fighter jets , Helicopters & Air Traffic Control) The CJTF-13 Battalion is aiming for the most realistic and immersive virtual experience in TAW DCS. If you are looking for very realistic, in-depth planned events, where flying to the ‘AO’ means you may have to rely on Air to Air refuel to be able to make it there and back home, following the correct waypoints/altitudes/speeds to be ‘on station’ at the predetermined time (ToT), where the other Squadrons are a key part of the success of the mission at hand, then the CJTF-13 is THE PLACE TO BE!!! We create MDC’s (Mission Data Cards) where all important information is stated, then we import this into DCS so every pilot has the info in his Kneeboard Map while performing the missions. Maps we use: Persian Gulf , Syria , Caucasus , Marianas (Maybe other maps in the future) We focus on both LAND and NAVAL OPERATIONS in every mission, we only use full fidelity modules which are currently the F-16C, F/A-18C, F-15E and Helicopters. Note* our current active squadrons are as follows: F-16 (RNLAF 313) F-15E (494th FS) F/A-18 (VMFA 212) AH-64 (13th CAB) OH-58D (13th CAB) Air Traffic Control (8 Squadron) F-4 (526th vTFS) F-4 Recruitment thread: Helicopter squadron recruitment thread: Any upcoming modern full fidelity module may be incorporated as well. We are also open to recruit Air Traffic controllers. We are all very happy and willing to help you get the best and most out of your module of choice, but you are required to train on certain topics where you lack some experience by yourself, without us having to try and motivate you to do just that. This is the type of pilot we are looking for: A motivated and dedicated person who WANTS to be great in all things needed to perform realistic combat sorties, as perfectly as possible in a well oiled teamplay war machine. You need to bring the commitment and dedication to learning to excel in CJTF-13. This requires you to go out and look for ways to improve yourself, so when we actually fly missions together, we will all be at our BEST and only have to focus on the mission at hand and not on other things that may distract us from that. ################### The CJTF-13 hold its weekly Mandatory Event on SUNDAY’s @ 1945 CE(S)T (Summer Time 1745Z, Winter Time 1845Z). The CJTF-13 hold its weekly Training Sessions on THURSDAY’s @ 2030 CE(S)T (Summer Time 1830Z, Winter Time 1930Z). #################### The minimum requirements for joining the CJTF-13 are as follows: – Being PRO-ACTIVE, willing to read and learn documents and perfect your skills in your own time, outside of regular training events – Able to fly formation perfectly and able to execute Air to Air Refuel (AAR) in fair weather (for fixed wings) – In any helicopter, you need to be able to conduct a stationary hover pedal-turn to maneuver around tight forward bases. – Basic experience using Navigation, Combat Systems and Weapons – Experience with using SRS (Simple Radio) and Basic knowledge of ATC Communication – Able to execute a CASE 1 Recovery on a CARRIER; if choosing a NAVAL Aircraft - Able to execute an OVERHEAD BREAK and FAN BREAK together with proper AIRBASE procedures; if choosing a LAND BASED aircraft – Able to speak and understand proficient ENGLISH; Communication is key to success, we need to understand eachother – Using TrackIR or a similar system, or Virtual Reality – Owning the aircraft module of your choice and required maps. If you are interested in joining us please visit our website or join our discord and simply contact one of our recruitment officers (with CJTF Staff tag) Website: https://tawdcs.org/battalion/cjtf Discord: https://discord.com/invite/tawdcs If you had any questions , feel free to ask here or directly message me on discord: my ID tag is @catkovsky

null Welcome to the 480th vTFS! I'm Josh, or if you prefer "Cooper". I've been a part of the flight sim community for years now, since I was only 16 during the times of Rise of Flight. I've always been extremely passionate about aviation, but one aspect of aviation that I can never get enough of - is Cold War era aviation. Big birds like the Eagle, or Tomcat, or more relevant to this post, the Phantom have always been some of my favorite aircraft ever. Now with the F-4 in DCS and the Cold War Germany map, I can start a true passion project of mine - starting a Cold War era F-4 Wild Weasel squadron in DCS - with a focus on flying how they flew. Flying the real patterns around Spang', flying the real approaches, using the tactics they used... etc. What is in the 480th vTFS? An easy-going, open-minded, friendly atmosphere, with passionate like-minded people looking to simulate what it was like in the 480th TFS during the 70s and 80s as realistically as possible, without making it a second job. Custom made skins that were researched to match the paintjobs of the real 480th jets during the 70s and 80s. Custom made in-flight guides for Spangdahlem and the areas around it. These use as much information from the 80s as we can get (albeit this information is very limited), and the rest is inferred from modern FLIPs, and other FLIPs from the 80s. Regular, weekly coordination and collaboration with the REFORGER community in DCS. An atmosphere of learning. We're all passionate about this hobby, and as you probably know, this hobby involves a LOT of learning. We'll all learn from mistakes. From mistakes while flying, to mistakes in my research, and as time goes on, we'll have a better and more realistic group for us to fly in What are the requirements to join? You must be at least 18 years old. You must own the Heatblur F-4E module. You must own the Ugra Media Cold War Germany Map You must have SRS downloaded and installed And finally, you must have a working microphone and HOTAS. If you're interested in joining, come stop by our Discord group! Me and my wingman Mobile after the last REFORGER Joint Training Exercise

Phobetor is a newly established, central Europe based, F-18 squadron. And we’re on the lookout for new recruits who are ready to join us for fun and realistic missions. We operate in a semi-milsim style. This means that we are interested in following real-life procedures and comms, but not very strictly. Members of our squadron don’t have to study any procedures, they will learn these in our trainings. Our events are held on our self hosted server with weekly custom missions that are dynamic, realistic, come with good briefings and above all, are a bunch of fun! If you’re 16+, have some DCS and Hornet experience, and can make our weekend trainings consistently, we would love to have you join us! Please read our full requirements and join our discord via our website: https://phobetor.site/ Also check out our insta! https://instagram.com/phobetor_dcs/

EUROPEAN BASED - 13th CAB - Combat Aviation Brigade Part of CJTF-13 Joint Task Force Recruiting AH-64D and OH-58D Pilots and CPGs We follow real-life procedures as closely as possible, we use strict radio communications, and train HARD to get to a high level of virtual flying! This type of flight simming is not for everyone, because it requires a certain mindset, time commitment, and motivation to do it right - like holding a stationary hover, applying tactics, and radio communications. If you are looking for short, action-packed missions that are all about killing tanks and risking the helicopter, 13th CAB is NOT the place for you. the 13th CAB is THE PLACE TO BE if: - You are looking for realistic, in-depth planned events that include fighter jets. - You are willing to train in parade and tactical formations. - You are prepared to train the basics like hovering and radio comms to the extent that they become muscle memory and automatisms. - You can take just as much pride in a successful mission without a shot fired, but a safe landing back home, as one with 16 enemy vehicles destroyed. 13th CAB staff provides organized training events and supports you on the way to becoming mission-qualified. The 13th CAB holds its weekly Mandatory Event on SUNDAY @ 1945 CE(S)T (Summer Time 1745Z, Winter Time 1845Z). The 13th CAB holds its weekly Training Sessions on Thursday @ 2030 CE(S)T (Summer Time 1830Z, Winter Time 1930Z). The minimum requirements for joining the 13th CAB are as follows: – Being PROACTIVE, willing to read study material and perfect your skills in your own time, outside of regular training events – Being able to conduct a stationary hover pedal-turn to maneuver around tight forward bases (FOB and FARP). – Demonstrating basic experience using the navigation, sensor, and weapons systems. – Able to speak and understand proficient ENGLISH; communication is key to success, we need to understand each other – Using HOTAS or HOCAS and pedals, as well as head tracking or virtual reality – Owning the aircraft module of your choice and required maps (see CJTF-13 recruitment post) If you are interested in joining us please visit our website or join our discord and simply contact one of our recruitment officers (with CJTF Staff tag) Website: https://tawdcs.org/battalion/cjtf Discord: https://discord.com/invite/tawdcs If you have any questions, feel free to ask here or directly message me on Discord: my ID tag is @eteokles

Hi, Im a 4 year VR Hornet flyer that swapped to Apache recently. Im looking for a squadron that can help me in the learning process. During hornet training I put in the reading and practice hours and I like a good amount of realism (tower, calls, flight procedures, etc). A squadron that has a good balance of realism and laughter/fun is the environment I thrive in. Hope there is a squadron looking for an aspiring Apache (co) pilot.

If you are a DCS Chopper Pilot looking for a place to develop and share your flying and combat skills, you should definitively check out Black Shark Den, the largest rotary wing ONLY squadron for DCS in the North America and European regions. We are offering the most structured training for helicopters, based on the US Army ATM (Aircrew Training Manuals) and are actually proud of having several active helicopter pilots both military and civilian in our instructors rank who provided their best insights. We have also talented mission designers, modders and scripters who are providing most of what is badly missing in DCS for helicopters operations to our missions. Each region (EU and US) is structured in platform based platoons with specific training and roles: Our missions are designed with helicopters operations first. We are not flying fixed wing. None. (unless we are having events with other friendly fixed wing squadrons :)). If you are still not convinced, come and say hi on our BSD Discord channel. You are always welcome.

Hi all, I am recruiting pilots and RIOs for my F-14B squadron. If you're interested in participating in 30+ jet operations, regular training, building friendships, and sharing a love for the mighty Tomcat, you might want to join us! Flying the Tomcat is a challenge to your airmanship, but it's also a thrilling experience that we'd love to share together. Currently, we have 6 real-life pilots in our sqn. We've developed mixed airframe tactics with our sister Hornet squadron, VFA-97, and we share CVW-73 together as a carrier air wing, we have a pretty chill but focus vibe, I think you will like it. If you are unsure, feel free to book a trial fam flight with us to see if you like our vibe. untilCome Join Our Sunday Night Campaign! Every Sunday night at 9PM EST we host our campaign missions. These missions have a light story behind them, data cards to go along with each mission, and proper briefings. We try our best to maintain professionalism, teach proper procedure, and most of all have fun and work as a team during these missions. They are also persistent, if a group of units dies one mission, they will not make it to the next mission. We also utilize several scripts made by the community to enhance realism, such as the IADS Script, various Moose Scripts, and so on.

Whaaaats up everyone I’m writing this post mostly because my dcs squadron of 250 member are looking really bad for this rare thing called viggen pilots :). We are mostly a US based squadron but have members all over the world. You must be able to speak English, be 18+ and just a nice individual. We organized events multiple times each week on our own servers that are open 24/7 and with prebuilt huge dynamic scenarios. On top of that do we also have campaigns wher we can have up to 40 people flying at ones. If you are experienced in the viggen that’s great but I’m willing to teach you the viggen inside and out if you so want to. So are you the one that likes to fly low and stupidly fast above the tree tops, strike targets that are deep in to enemy territory or just do send RB-15s at a poor carrier group. What are you waiting for just click on the link down below because I would love to have you as my wing man and teach you everything I know about the viggen! You will find the discord invite here // (HVY) Artic fox

Following rapid expansion of DCAF’s F-14 component, we are looking to onboard more F-14 crewmembers seeking executive and organisational capabilities. If you’re interested in flight leading, planning, training, and leading a squadron, this could be an exceptional opportunity for you. About DCAF: DCAF (Digital Coalition Air Force), is an EU based DCS mil-sim organisation, with numerous squadrons. We take considerable pride in our comprehensive training structure, regular custom missions, human controllers/ABMs/JTACs/FACs, and community. About VF-154: As one of the largest squadrons, VF-154 specialises in the air-to-air realm, with side roles of SEAD and air-to-ground flying the F-14A. Currently, VF-154 has 16 crewmembers on roster with more aircrew cadets in the training pipeline. VF-154 consists of an even share of European and American based crewmembers that come together to support DCAF. Why do we want COs and XOs? The role of a CO and XO can be time consuming but remains critical in the health and running of a squadron. While internally recruiting for the role, we believe bringing in external expertise and skills will bolster the capabilities of VF-154. This also coincides with the intention of standing up a second squadron, necessitating more leaders. What is the fast stream? The CO/XO fast stream is a course led by former COs/XOs and wing staff officers within the F-14 community. Fast stream trainees will be given an intensified course in which trainees will have greater personalised training, taken from line pilot/RIO to flight lead, to flight commander, and eventually XO/CO. This will be over a duration of a few months to ensure prospective XO/COs have appropriately assimilated into DCAF, have good rapport with the squadron, and demonstrate effective leadership and administrative capabilities. What we want from you: - To be at least 18 years of age, - Able to attend weekly ops (Thursday 1830GMT) and additional operations (Saturdays 1830GMT) very regularly, - Have considerable time to put into training within the week, - Be competent with the F-14A, whether pilot or RIO, o Pilots: this consists of being able to capably use SRS and is familiar with radio telephony, can confidently perform CASE I recoveries, conduct formation flying, air to air refuelling day and night, has some experience flight leading, and is readily familiar with the F-14’s capabilities. o RIOs: this consists of being able to capably use SRS and is familiar with radio telephony, has some experience flight leading, is familiar with the vast majority of TID modes including NAVGRID, an awareness of piloting the F-14, and CNATRA P-825. - A willingness and interest in training F-14 cadets, - Be a capable English speaker, - Be willing to use Discord, - Possess a stable internet connection, - Possess good quality flight simulator hardware, including a HOTAS, rudder, and at least a headtracking/VR solution, - A great teamworking attitude. This consists of a willingness to learn and assimilate into DCAF’s modus operandi, a drive to practise in personal time for self-improvement, be willing to take constructive criticism, and a strong desire for personal improvement to contribute back to the squadron. These attitudes precede leadership, - Bring great energy and enthusiasm towards the group and towards individual training, - Some leadership experience in dynamic situations, with an ability to take responsibility, identify faults and rectify them. While some of these traits are definitive requirements, no applicant is the same, and individual circumstances will be considered. What will the fast stream look like? Note: Subject to Change Trainees will enter DCAF’s training syllabus, primarily consisting of V1, V2, and V3. - V1: is our course that all aircrew cadets go through in order to meet DCAF’s minimum standard in partaking as a line pilot. This consists of a familiarisation flight (start up, taxi, departure, straight and level flight, turns, climbs & descents, 60° AOB turns, slow speed flight in landing configuration, high AOA manoeuvring, stall and spin recovery, descent, and landing), visual circuits, departures and arrivals (from the military aerodrome traffic zone), formation flying, day and night AAR(Air-Air-Refuelling), night familiarisation flight, weaponeering and combat readiness assessment. RIOs are different in that they have bespoke components in lieu of formation and AAR. - V2: is our flight lead course. Once V2 qualified, trainees will be able to plan, and flight lead a division of their airframe. This consists of a domestic flying assessment, a decision-making exercise, and a combat flying readiness assessment. V2 will also give you the preliminary capability to instruct most components of V1. - V3: is designed to give crewmembers the necessary skills to become a squadron executive (CO/XO) and ability to teach V2. This goes into greater depth concerning air power theory, sortie management, flight commanding, and instructional technique. Additional syllabus, such as All-Weather Intercepts/Beyond Visual Range and for pilots CQ (Carrier Qualifications) will most likely be necessary. The fast stream will most likely be over three months with the following timeline in weeks: 0 – 2: Pass and qualify as a V1 crewmember before end of second week, 2 – 4: Continue personal training and attend weekly operations, 2 – 5: Undergo V2 training, with deadline before end of fifth week, 6 – 9: Consolidation of V2 training, conduct flight lead and training, attain AWI/BVR and CQ qualifications, 9 – 12: Begin and complete V3 training before end of 12th week. Throughout this time, you will be mentored by experienced F-14 crewmembers who will provide guidance and assess your performance. This is a great and rare opportunity to take your hobby to the next level and have the responsibility of a full-sized squadron. If you are interested, and believe you meet the specifications, join our Discord, and message me, either on ED or on Discord. We’ll have an informal chat to ensure expectations are met on both sides.
