When can we expect the next beta patch?

 

With the last OB patch sliding to the last week in Sept, followed by a couple of Hotfixes, its safe to guess the last week of October. Possibly into November.

the DCS crew helped me out - thank guys, good job.

 

If anyone was having the same problem: 1. go to AUDIO, confirm "main audio out" and "headphones" are correctly selected. I had two options with SteelSeries Arctis Pro: GAME setting and CHAT Setting. I had previously been set to DEFAULT which was not working any longer. I moved it to CHAT, still not working. When I moved it to GAME it worked.

 

 

Lesson - if you are more of a USER than techie (hand raised here) then don't despair, the guys at DCS will help - so reach out if you cannot resolve it yourself.

Was guessing next week, but well. Always just expect it like the next job: never. Best way to stay safe of expectations that might not be met.

"The new Damage Model code with all last fixes is uploaded to build to start Open Public tests on the ED servers shortly. The information about how to connect to test servers will be placed on the forum soon."

 

Why does it seem like it's multiplayer only for now? Please tell me it's not gonna be only in multiplayer and we have to wait another two weeks™.

It is MP only, and you have to wait for two weeks.

No - post in the Heatblur thread earlier today explaining this should now be coming on the 18th November with the release of the F-14A

 

Having said this, there is another post from @IronMike saying the AIM-54 guidance changes are in and asking for feedback on this as it is not fully tested (https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/english/licensed-third-party-projects/heatblur-simulations/dcs-f-14a-b/7126386-aim-54-changes-new-api-fixes-are-live-in-today-s-patch#post7126386)

not seeing any improvement in the Channel Map performance :( Looks like a massive update though otherwise good job!

I am seeing a hitch in framerate consistency every 5-6 seconds in the Syria map, anyone else noticing this?

 

Which module should I test with, is MSI Afterburner sufficient to monitor framerate, do you have a particular mission/scenario in mind ?

crashes every start up, crash report sent

[update: I removed my usb wheel and my second usb keyboard, now it starts up fine again. Had never a problem with older dcs versions. Perhaps the way controllers are handled changed.]

I just hopped into an MP server just to see if was single player only related and I can clearly see and feel the timed hitch, only seems to be in Syria map
