Yes, goto your 'Users\username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config' folder and open options.lua, look in the ["graphics"] section and adjust width and height there and save.

Nice - just tried and was 1 minute for me. Feels faster than before but could just be me hoping!

 

Edit: I forgot I had deleted fxo and meta shaders folders before loading up the new beta build so there was no doubt time spent reinstalling those files. Tried again and it was down to 35 seconds. Definitely faster than previously!

It's REAL...it's BIG....my loading time went from over 3.30 mins to 50secs, fastest it's loaded in long time. Thank you DCS guys & gals....

Yup, down to 47 seconds from clicking the desktop icon to stable on the home screen (that's on a NVMe drive), from 3+ minutes before today's patch.

i am loading faster. before about 6 minutes to main menu. now 2 minutes.

 

ps: 45 seconds to 3 seconds difference found from time running exe to got auth data. .

ST back to normal.

MT, not so much.

Several minutes in, zero activity on the progress bar. Few minutes later: CTD.

No mods loaded, repair install, patched.

Strange, just tested:

 

 

Load DCS 2.8.7.42583 Multi-threaded, enter Mission Editor, Load Mission at Nevada map, Run Mission, total time less than 2 minutes.

This is true for my rig as well.
Update 2.8.7. doesn't show long loading time.
