RNLAFvirtueel is op zoek naar F16 vliegers RNLAFv is een groep die de Nederlandse luchtmacht zo goed mogelijk probeert na te bootsen. Wij proberen Milsim te zijn maar wel met een leuk randje. We bieden enthousiaste F-16 piloten een leerweg via onze 131 en 148 opleidingsquadrons. Binnen het 131 squadron krijg je basale vliegopleiding met landen, starten, standard instrument departures (SIDs) en standard terminal arrival routes (STARs). Het 148 squadron richt zich op het beheersen van wapensystemen een aanvalstactieken. Eenmaal geslaagd wordt je opgenomen in het 313 squadron en leer je aanvalstactieken in teamverband. Na het behalen van je Mission Qualification mag je meedoen aan internationale missies die wij samen met andere groepen vliegen. Afhankelijk van je startniveau kan je binnen een week gekwalificeerd zijn. Als je meer training nodig hebt bieden wij zelfstudie materiaal inclusief oefenmissies en mag je elke donderdag oefenen vanaf hetzelfde vliegveld als waar de andere vliegers actief zijn, zodat je een gave studie ervaring zult hebben. All ground units are saved between server restarts, along with all other elements of the campaign. Almost nothing changes when the server restarts. This means that any units you create with CTLD or Credit Drops will be there when the server comes back up. This completely persistent environment is a core element of Contention. Each campaign is intended to feel like a large-scale, persistent conflict that can potentially last weeks at a time! Dynamic Mission Generation: Contention started off as more of a framework than a server. We wanted to make something that was easily-adaptable to any project. Another important goal was to make sure that our servers would continue to be fun and interesting for many years to come. So we created a highly-dynamic mission generation system that ensures that each campaign is different from the last. Many of the core objectives, like Airfields & FARPs, don’t move. However, almost all other objectives have some element of dynamic generation. Aristotle Dear fighter pilots and friends - Welcome back to the second season of Aerial Combat Championship! About a year ago, this tournament ran for the first time - with lots of success and amazing battles. Thanks again to all of you for attending and participating, supporting and submitting feedback throughout the season. Without you, this tournament would not exist or go for the second round. If you see this tournament for the first time, maybe you want to check out last seasons thread? Alright, lets cut right to it shall we? GENERAL INFORMATION The ACC Discord-Server serves as the main source of information as well as the means for organizing each element during the tournament. Please join the server for everything important via the link below: -> Discord Invite Link <- Discord Server Membership is required for a valid sign-up. Format and Structure All the important things in short: - PvP - 6v6 - Best of 3 - BVR - NoAWACS - Qualifiers followed by a Double Elimination Format Aerial Combat Championship (ACC) is a 6 versus 6, NoAWACS, BVR tournament focused solely on the competitive PvP aspect of DCS. Unlike other tournaments, its combat zone is rectangular (see Discord maps-setup section). A maximum of 16 teams may sign up for the tournament. This year, due to timely constraints, the tournament will not feature a group phase. If Season 2025 takes place, we will go back to the original format - or something even better! The 'Qualifiers' will be a randomized One-Time Match - This means we will have 8 winners and 8 loosers of said matches, setting the initial 'splits' for the following Double Elimination Phase. Please refer to the discord within the next few days of this post being released for more details. Restrictions Airframe Restrictions: - Modern airframes only - No FC3 what-so-ever! Mission Schedule Frequency: Once a month General Structure The campaign consists of interconnected missions, each influenced by the results of the previous one. Objectives: Each faction has primary and secondary objectives defined by Game Masters. Execution: Missions are live events conducted on official servers with required mods. Mission Flow Pre-Mission Briefing: Posted on the Discord server with all necessary details (ATO, ACO, objectives, threats, etc.). Operational Coordination: Faction leaders will coordinate operations through dedicated communication channels (Discord). Mission Live Event: Conducted on official servers, with all pilots adhering to the rules. Debriefing: Between missions, results will be analyzed, and strategic decisions will be adjusted for the next mission. Duration and Victory Conditions Duration: The campaign has no fixed end date and concludes when one faction achieves its primary objectives. Player vs Player Multiplayer, gunshot, s_event_hit registers multiple times and then bandit crashes into ground, however no kill event fires. This has happened now four out of nine kills since the new update. Removal of the wing in this fashion leading to player collision with terrain should result in a kill. Welcome to our BVR-Soloqueue System, designed to find matches for 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 brackets with fair rules for all players. Our queing system automates arena and team allocations, making it easy for players to quickly find 90's BVR matchups in a competitive environment. We are now entering public open Beta. How it works: Finding a match: Players enter the que via a Discord channel. Once enough players have been found the Fighting Wing Bot creates a thread the Discord channel tagging the players. An arena will be reserved for the respective players if they confirm that they received the queue within 2 minutes. Once all respective players have confirmed the match slots for their arenas will be unlocked for them. ) Once the match is over, the players will automatically be removed from the slots and not be able to join anymore. You can use /notification-on and /notification-off in discord to opt in and out from receiving pings when someone joins a queue! (This is off by default, we just assign a role to you if you turn it on). Leaderboard: All players participating will be added on a public leaderboard. Leaderboards for their respective brackets (1v1, 2v2 and 3v3) will be seasonal and reset regularly throughout the year. The classical ELO system is used to calculate the relative skill levels of players. Each player has a rating number starting at 500. When you win, your rating goes up; when you lose, it goes down. Achieving certain milestones in rating will grant special discord titles and roles (visual). We plan on expanding the rewards in the future. You can check elo and ranking of any player by using /rank in discord Meta: The Server uses a 90's setting with the main missiles being the Aim-54C Mk47/60, Aim-120B (limited to 6 per aircraft), R-27ER, R-77 and 2 R73. The Aim-9X and Aim-120C will not be available. 2 SD-10s will be available for the JF-17. ECM is NOT allowed. The zone you're playing in punishes endless running by moving towards the team closer to the center. So try to contest that part of the zone! We plan on potentially adding more servers with different metas in the future, including Coldwar, 80s and modern! The virtual Task Force 77 recruitment is now open once again and looking for skilled pilots. Who are we: vTF-77 is a DCS fighter, attack, and expeditionary task force, dedicated to providing a realistic experience within the 'mil sim' environment, while providing immersive and tactical operations for our pilots. That said, we are also about having fun in that experience. As a task force we have a great love for Air Force, Naval, and marine aviation and have squadrons available for all seeking the unique cultures those squadrons provide. These squadrons and its command team have a lot of experience in a wide range of tactics and procedures in both the virtual and real world. We are based out of the west coast of North America and conduct trainings every Tuesday and Thursday at 20:00 PST on our our own dedicated servers. Medium-Sized PvP event Tuesday, 17th of December 2024, 20:00z/GMT Domination is a symmetrical one-time, one-life, round based PvP event. Anyone can participate, lonewolves and beginners are encouraged to sign up! The mission will be played on Persian Gulf between Liwa (Blue) and Khasab (Red). There are 18 slots. The goal for both sides is to capture and hold as many of the three control zones as possible. The more zones a team controls, the quicker it achieves air control. The first team to reach 100% air control wins. The time limit is 40 minutes. If either team is fully shot down before time runs out, the other side wins. If time runs out before either side has achieved 100% air control, the side with a higher air control percentage will win. After winning, at least one member of the winning team must successfully RTB. If the losing side can prevent all enemies from going RTB, its a draw. If the combined result is a draw, the winning team will be decided based on the amount of survivors. ~~~~~~~~~~ RULES & INFO ~~~~~~~~~~ Flyable aircraft (both sides): F-15C, F-15E, M-2000C, Su-27, Su-33, J-11A, MiG-29, JF-17, F-14A, F-14B, F-18, F-16. If 50% or more of a team consists of MiG-29/M-2000C/F-14, they can get access to a GCI (Combined Arms JTAC slot) if one is available. Alternatively, they can have an additional slot. Using ECM at all is prohibited! In planes that carry jammers internally such as the M2000C, double check that it is off before takeoff! No exploiting AOA to cause lag. Do not "GCI" from spectators, join the spectators channel in discord if you want to spectate after death. Do not screenshare your cockpit or the GCI scope to flying teammates. There will be a 10 minute takeoff delay timer to allow people to connect the server. After the timer runs out, a script will prevent any new slots from being occupied. If you die or disconnect past this point, wait for the next round. Landing anywhere outside the home airfield will lead to your airplane spontaneously exploding. Both sides airfields have no defenses at all initially. A set of medium and short range air defenses will spawn at each sides airfields within 5 minutes once winning conditions are achieved. An invulnerable E-3 will be available on 305.000 on a racetrack for both sides near the home base. Tankers are available on 300.000 on a racetrack. This is an issue on the PVP side of things, but I didn't see a mention of it in the bug tracker so I thought I'd give it a post! The Fishbed's radar doesn't produce a lock warning on the RWR if any human piloted aircraft in DCS. It does produce a nail when searching, and It even provides a launch warning when firing in R3R. But never a lock warning. The sequence when piloting an F5 or other aircraft in a PVP environment is: MiG flips radar on -> 21 nails appear. MiG locks you -> nails disappear MiG fires an R3R -> Still no nails, launch warning sounds. This may be related to the Fishbed's radar acting like a laser, though this is something I've just heard through the grapevine of discord.

Since 2022, After the ceasefire ordered by the Council of nations, Syria Has spent the last 20 years gearing up for war. Syria and the Council of Nations are not willing to allow the dictatorship to have such a large arsenal. The border needs to be reinforced to protect Israel from a possible Syrian Invasion. Once the border is reinforced, we can start the push into Syria to remove the dictator from power. Damascus is heavily reinforced by his followers. Destroy factories and airfields. Frequencies can be found in your kneeboard. There are Easter Eggs in this server mission. Good luck finding them! Game Plan Reinforce the front line(indicated on map) Push the Syrian forces from the border Move into Syria and capture the Factories, Airfields, and strategic points Dwindle the Syrian forces until the supply is low enough for an attack on Damascus Assassinate the Dictator Persistence This server is persistent, constantly evolving campaign. What this means is, everything you do is kept on the server after a restart. Supply There is a finite amount of supply for both Syria and Israel. This means if you take off in a helicopter or a jet, and loose the aircraft that will no longer be in the supply However, there are factories across the map for resupply of Airframes, Fuel, Munitions, and troops. Don't forget that you will need to resupply the airfields and FARPS with the required munitions. I'm wondering if there's anyone out there having lots of success using Voice Attack for PvP — if so, can you give any hints/tips how you get it to work most effectively? NOT using Voice Attack I noticed Growling Sidewinder saying he's having lots of success link hosting AWACS then using the Jester Menu > STT Lock > Choose Specific Target — however using Voice Attack we can't do that (unless I'm mistaken) I've only tried PvP a couple of times using Voice Attack, and tend to just say "Radar Mode TWS" (to go TWS Auto, not even sure if I need to do this), then wait for Jester to find targets on the radar/assign numbers, then say "Track single Target 1 (or whatever number) — to get lock. However I notice he loses lock a lot after I fire a Phoenix — seems to switch radar modes or something, so I end up often having to fire off a couple of missiles Also, what command do I use to to try and make sure it's an enemy and not a friendly? I've been using the map which feels like cheating and I'm imagining isn't an option on all servers? Why doesn't AIRIO have a command 'track single bandit ahead' — instead it only has bogey/friendly options, and bogeys CAN be friendlies, unless I'm mistaken? So yeah — any advice for all the commands/techniques you use to do well in PvP using VoiceAttack / AIRIO much appreciated. Thanks, Kingfish

SATAL23 Survivor Series "War does not determine who is right -- only who is left..." From the team that brought you SATAL 2019, 2020, 2021, Dogfight 1v1, Folds of Honor, and Oddball... We are PROUD to announce the SATAL23 SURVIVOR SERIES. The Survivor Series is a new LEAGUE to better define what SATAL is, a LEAGUE. Teams will not be judged based on solely wins and losses, but also how many members of your team return home safely and SURVIVE. After all, a win means nothing if nobody returns home alive.... The objective of each match is to eliminate all enemy players in the zone, or own the zone for certain time limit. And return back home to base with as many survivors as possible. Some new features include many improvements from the previous SATAL21 season. BRAND new redesigned from the ground up SATAL mission scripts. Including the DCSWE SHRINKING ZONE Servers are available 24/7. Teams can schedule their matches at ANY TIME during each stage. You can fly all in one day, or over 4 weeks. This ensures all teams have ample time to fly their matches. Teams will fly against different teams in each stage, NEVER the same team twice. The old "best of 3" format is being replaced by a new League friendly system to better accommodate teams. A match is made of two halves. Points are earned by each player having entered the combat zone and returning home to land after the zone has been captured. A match win is 3 points Every pilot who returns to land counts as 1 survivor point. (Multi-crew aircraft with 2 PLAYERS count as 2 survivor points) A draw is 1 match point per team and survivor points (if any). A loss is ZERO match points but survivor points are still given (if any). Teams global rankings and scoring are all AUTOMATICALLY populated and available at the beginning and end of each match. And updated real-time in Discord. Matches should now never last longer than an hour with our new system. Players can now change aircraft in between halves. This is new to SATAL. Teams are competing for a top 16 RANKING to qualify for the elimination championships at the end of the league. The league will consist of 4 stages. Each stage being 1 month long. Each stage will run on the same DCS patch. Every stage will consist of a different theme. AWACS will not be available in all stages. Stage 1 = FLAT maps + AWACS Stage 2 = SARH rules + AWACS (Fox 1's and Fox 2's only) Stage 3 = NIGHT + AWACS Stage 4 = Mountains - NO AWACS Championship Elimination + NO AWACS Teams will fly a total of 12 matches over 4 stages. (3 per stage required). Teams with lots of members have the benefit of entering multiple teams within their organization. For example: If TeamABC has 13 members, since this is a 4v4 League; they have enough people to enter up to 3 teams with 1 reserve! Example - 32, 36, 40, etc. Because of this, any teams that fall outside of that number will be put into the shadow league unless we get more teams to equal a multiple of 4. ODDBALL By Bear Inspired by the Halo game mode, this is my interpretation of it for DCS. Objective: Score more points than your opposition in two 12 minute halves and have fun with 2 fox2’s and guns. The Match: The 1st Half begins 3 minutes after the mission loads or sooner if both teams indicate they are ready using the F10 radio options. Each half is 12 minutes long and no points are earned after the first half horn or fulltime sound. Halftime statistics are shown for 1 minute before the server automatically loads the next half. The 2nd half begins 1 minute after mission load. Teams remain on the same Coalition for both the first half and the second half. The airbases change between halves. Scoring: Taking off before the round starts will give 100pts to the opposing team per illegal takeoff. Killing an enemy aircraft in the Scoring Zone (SZ) earns 5pts for your team. Fratricide will deduct 10pts from your team score. Getting the first kill in a half will make you the Ball Carrier. You will trail coalition colour smoke as the Ball Carrier. Killing the enemy Ball Carrier makes you the new Ball Carrier. The Ball Carrier will also earn points the longer they are in possession of it and dependant on where they are in the Scoring Zone. 10pts is added to the Team with the Ball every time the Scoring Bar is filled. The High Scoring Zone (HSZ) is centred on Bulls/WP3 and is where the Ball Carrier earns points the quickest. There is Black Smoke indicating the centre of the Scoring Zone starting when the round is active. The Warning Zone (WZ) is the band on the outside of the Scoring Zone and the Ball Carrier earns points much slower. In the event that the scores are tied at the end of Full Time, the first legitimate kill in the first half will determine the winner of that match. Limitations for Ball Carrier: There is a Hard Ceiling of 20000feet MSL. Breaking the ceiling as the Ball Carrier will Reset the Ball. The Ball Carrier will get a notification message when they are in the High Scoring Zone or when they enter the Warning Zone. Flying outside the Scoring Zone as the Ball Carrier will Reset the Ball. Firing a Missile as the Ball Carrier will Drop the Ball. Limitations for All: Firing a Missile from outside the Scoring Zone or anywhere above the Hard Ceiling will self-destruct the Missile and may cause damage to your own aircraft. Landing in the Scoring Zone will explode your aircraft. Use of Jammers is prohibited. Ball Available/Ball Reset/Dropped Ball: The ball becomes available when it is Reset or Dropped or the Ball Carrier crashes or ejects. The player who gets the next legitimate kill becomes the new Ball Carrier. Spawns/Repawns: All aircraft are hotstarted and ready to go. Pilots do not have the ability to rearm, refuel, change tail number or change skins. On spawn, look to the short side of the runway before taxiing forward and taking off down the middle to avoid potentially crashing into a spawning teammate. Players may respawn. Players may change aircraft types at their own discretion. A Double Elimination with ‘if match’ competition ensures all teams get at least 2 matches each. The ‘if match’ will only be played if a team that reaches the Finals without any losses, loses that match. The 1st Placed team will receive 6x South Atlantic Maps for DCS and get to play in an Exhibition match against a special Razbam Team the weekend following this event on the South Atlantic map. Every match takes 30minutes (24mins flying time), with a 10-15minute break between each round. As the tournament progresses, there may be longer waiting times between rounds. Insufficient players in a match will not delay the match starting time, a team no show by 1st round start is a forfeit. Multiple practice servers running Oddball will be available for 1 week leading up to the event and on request. All matches will be played on DCS World Events servers located in Germany. Servers have a max ping of 350. Teams may only have 6 players join the server during a match, RIOs count as players. Players may only play on 1 Team and may not join a different team if their team is eliminated. Players may not share DCS Accounts and trial aircraft are not allowed. Breaking rules, unsportsmanlike conduct or cheating may lead to disqualification. Organisers decisions are final. Prizes are not exchangeable. The winning team captain shall PM the organiser with their list of their six chosen non Steam user accounts and corresponding email addresses to receive the South Atlantic Map. Players banned or blocked may not take part in this event. Depending on the number of teams signing up, teams will be randomly placed into a single Group or Multiple Groups. In the event of multiple groups, the winners of each group will play each other. A double ‘if match’ may apply here. We reserve the right to amend, add or remove certain rules prior to this event commencing via public notifications and the right to handle exceptions and unforeseen circumstances during the event if necessary. [BRAND NEW] RED STORM RISING - BATTLE FOR CYPRUS __________________ Introducing brand new of the Red Storm Rising - Dynamic Campaign PVP/PVE. We are kicking off things again here at RSR with a primarily helicopter based mission with also fixed wing. Before we release the server, we first wanted to discuss and receive feedback regarding our new mission. The server features brand new from scratch code aimed at improving performance. No old RSR code exists anymore, so you should notice increased performance of the mission. RSR 2.0 also includes many behind the scenes features such as automatic campaign resets and configurability. Brand New RSR Goals Provide a fun, simple, engaging experience. Scalable maps as players return. Fair dynamic PVP/PVE. Performant design. Battle for Cyprus Summary The objective is to capture all bases on the Island of Cyprus. Helicopters have been given a significant advantage with the kinds of units they can encounter on the island in addition to being the only aircraft slottable on the island. Fixed wings are limited to Incirlik and Beirut. To capture a base, all units must be destroyed on the field and a group of 5 command infantry units must be present. In addition, players can utilize FARPS, but must first capture them. All of the FARPs start with squishy insurgents. Bases will replenish after restart. Basic Server Rules Weapons are limited to only Fox-1, Fox-2, Laser Guided, and Rockets Cyprus has two FARPS for blue and red that are not capturable. Helicopters will always be able to spawn here. Incirlik and Beirut are also not capturable. Limited CTLD. You can sling some artillery, APCs, IFVs, and support/logistical crates. Don't expect much from them.
