I'm looking for the inwards portion/bevel (not the screen). Is there a way in MV2 to say click an area and it tells me what texture is used? Thanks!

Hello everyone. Is there any mods that add equipment on the dashboard of aircraft? Like pubs bags, charts, books, and anything that a pilot may carry and stow somewhere in the aircraft? Thanks
-
Hello. Does anyone by chance have any cockpit revamps that replace REDFOR FC3 aircraft with different cockpits? For example, an Su-25A with an MFD in it? Thanks

Hi... I think I've seen an Mi-24P which has complete black cockpit if I'm not wrong, in Goggle Images. So, not to waste my all Sunday, I have prepared a mod about that. I hope you'll enjoy. Thank you. DOWNLOAD: DCS: Mi-24P Gray (Panels) Cockpit Mod v1.2 (02/2023)

Hello everyone, A little while ago when the apache got announced i got the idea of making a cockpit for it. I started designing some panels to see how well i would do. I only started using fusion a month prior. My goal is to get a fully functioning pilot station with all switches and buttons that are in the real thing. Everything will be 3d printed and modeled by myself. I do fly in VR so there will be no screens in my cockpit for now . I am posting this here because i thought some of you may like the idea and would be interested in how things would look. So i will be posting picture here of my progress. I have been working on it for a little while now. but the Cyclic grip and collective grip are giving me a headache. not to mention the Tedac grips. If there are more experienced people here who do 3d modeling and have some tips for me PLEASE do share them below! Any tips in general are also very welcome! Thank you,

Default cockpit textures for the Mi-24P module are quite heavy - memory usage wise, both cockpits will take up whole 2GB of ones VRAM, and for some this might be too much. So I tried to optimize them, to limit the amount of VRAM take take, by rescaling textures that are not essential for graphical fidelity. In the mean time, also re-coloring them... because why not? The result are cockpits that take only half of the memory they used to, without any noticeable degradation in visual quality. For a week now many of you could try the Black English-language one, and I heard a lot of positives about the load times, and in some cases performance increase. So through the week I made also the Russian version of the black cockpit, as well as both in grey, and... RAL 5018 - which was a substitute for trying to match the factory turquoise paint used by Mil, by the European users. English language cockpits also have brightened engine fire lights, as by default they are dimmer than the Russian language one. Skins are made to be compatible with OvGME - just use that program to install the mods. If you don't use that program, just unpack the .zi archive, and move the 'Liveries' folder, to your DCS directory in Saved Files location. Then choose new cockpit paint in game Options -> Special -> Mi-24. Update 2021-09-27: All cockpits updated to be compatible with newly added texture layers. Update 2021-06-21: Russian language cockpits updated for the warning panel lights to display properly. Instead, I would install rotary encoders in place of the potentiometers. This way, you can also use the BBI-64 Button Box Interface (which doesn't support axes), but has enough inputs, and you'll save the 12-button USB board. https://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=94&products_id=300 !! NOTE !! This thing is BIG! If you have a small printer like me (Creality Ender 3), you have to print some parts WITHOUT rafts!!! The UFC can be mounted slightly tilt forward or straight. There are two option you can print. You can label the panels by changing the filament at the appropriate print height in Cura (etc.). I only did this for the buttons. I printed the other labels on adhesive film. I made these prints resistant with acrylic paint. So, there is an option "NO-LABELS" for some STL parts. I have attached a suitable PNG or here https://milkris.de/s/DtK6gxqaiAgqQTo. This can be easily printed on A4 adhesive film. For some areas in the interior, such as the housing for the electrical boards and the back panel of the UFC, I simply used a 3mm PVC foam board. I simply used a Leobodnar BU0836X USB board, as well as a simple 12-button joystick USB board. It's not pretty, but it works out of the box. Of course, you can also use a different solution (Arduino, etc.). # Note: I wouldn't use potentiometers next time, even though it might be less tactile and realistic. Instead, I would install rotary encoders in place of the potentiometers. This way, you can also use the BBI-64 Button Box Interface (which doesn't support axes), but has enough inputs, and you'll save the 12-button USB board Since I already use a 4K monitor and three 7" MFD screens, my monitor outputs were scarce. The solution was the "Matrox TripleHead2Go". I got the DP version cheaply on eBay. Here I combined my three 800x600 MFD screens into one 2400x600 screen. Now I only need one DP connection to the graphics card for my three MFDs, and I can connect the UFC to the graphics card with a DP to HDMI cable. The viewpoint export must be adjusted exactly so that the lines are readable. Please refer to the pictures at Thingiverse! Since I change the UFCs, throttles, and joysticks depending on the aircraft i fly, I have created various PowerShell scripts for starting DCS, which accordingly adjust the MonitorConfig, etc. before starting DCS If you only use the UFC in VR, you can also simply use a red acrylic glass instead of the LCD screen. It's alive!!! it's a mess My little helper have soldered most of the wires My little corner. Full convertible Cockpit.

Link: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.c...files/3306396/ ------------------------------------ Changelog 18 Sep 2021: Updated instructions regarding Integrity Check pass, for 2.7.6.12852 Open Beta, see Options 1 and 2. Changelog 21 Aug 2021: Updated for 2.7.5.10869 Open Beta. Changed reflection effect to show up more, after the reflection changes that came with 2.7. Fixed AGM-65F crosshairs appearing green when using white font. ------------------------------------ !!! As of DCS Open Beta 2.7.6.12852, any changes in files present inside the \Mods\aircraft\... directory will lead to a failed Integrity Check for Multiplayer. As such, if you want to pass IC, you cannot use the white DDI font and the grayscale FLIR/MAV/AG radar video. Please perform the steps outlined in Options 1 and 2, below. Install the cockpit textures by placing the "FA-18C Hornet LCD MDIs by Harker" folder in C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\Cockpit_F-18C\ Install the white font and grayscale FLIR/MAV/AG radar picture changes by copying the Mods folder in the main DCS directory and overwriting (this will fail IC). Enable the mod by going into Options -> Special Options -> F/A-18C and select "FA-18C Hornet LCD screens by Harker" from the Customized Cockpit list. You also need to select MFD Reflections: Static in the Special Options, in order to see the changes. ------------------------------------ The following are options, and both of these steps are necessary in order to pass IC. Option 1: Keep green DDI and AMPCD font. Delete the materials.lua file, located in FA-18C LCD MDIs\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Cockpit\Scripts\ before using the mod. Option 2: Keep the green FLIR/MAV/AG radar picture. Delete flir_texture.dds, located in FA-18C LCD MDIs\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Cockpit\IndicationResources\MDG\ before using the mod. ------------------------------------ Changing the font color also changes the friendly HAFU, PPLI etc symbols to white from green. Seems like they're tied to the font color. I've looked for a way to change that, without success. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. I left the AGM-65E LMAV page grid on the default green color on purpose. ------------------------------------ Incompatible with cockpit mods that alter f18c_cpt-displayglass_refl.dds and f18c_cpt-displayglass_refl_RoughMet.dds. You'll have to overwrite these files with the files of this mod, in order to get the changes. Similarly, this mod changes the materials.lua file, so it will conflict with any mod that does the same, although it is easy to edit this file yourself and change it as you see fit. ------------------------------------

Bell UH-1M (Huey Hog) Helicopter gunship ..... flyable, clcikable, standalone, startup procedure, EFM, fully armed..... etc etc.... Vietcong added to the infantry list in Mission Editor.... for the Vietnam War. CREDITS : see credit text in folder (Cockpit by Yakarov) This is a Hi-res cockpit of the Bell UH-1M, with a simpler startup. It is not my intention to replace the UH-1H module by Belsimtek or replicate it in anyway; however there was a perceived desire in the modding community for a fully fledged Vietnam War era helicopter gunship; and so I did the UH1C, then realised that infact the UH1M was a better configuration and carried more weapons......so..... here we have the Bell UH-1M. Startup : look in folder for "UH-1M startup procedure.txt"....... there is a switch to turn on/off hints.... If you want a HiRes cockpit with all the bells and whistles working, please consider buying the UH-1H Huey by Belsimtek, that is an excellent module and gives you the full immersion experience. This project (UH-1M) was drawn together and completed by Freddy. DOWNLOAD THE UH-1M HERE NEW LINK...... 3 March 2022 Fixed landing on moving ships ...... credit and thanks to NoCallsign for testing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dglZauqLl1oXjf6FmsvJSua5qW-jpjdk/view?usp=sharing installation : : C:\Users\XXXXXX\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\aircraft\Bell UH-1M

What makes using the mouse in the cockpit much more difficult, is when the headshake of the pilot moves the mouse as well, e.g. during rough maneuvers. So how about an option to scroll the mouse independently of the player head movement along a sphere around the pilot's head? The center mouse button should recenter the mouse pointer in the player's center of view, if he looses it.

hello, good afternoon or evening, this time I will be brief and short in this forum, currently there is a bug in which the directions of the parts of the textures of the cabin of the mig-29 are badly placed, which are the kind of hud gyroscopes, a small notepad on the right side and on the radio frequency change knob of the mig-29 (all versions of this), then I will leave the captures that I take in model-viewer, but they happen both in e model-viewer and inside the simulator

What do you think about having restrictions in-game to your view, while in VR in the cockpit? Have you had experience with such limitations on your view before in other sit-down games? Do you believe that such limits will increase the immersion? Words and comments appreciated as well. Feedback doesn't have to just be from the poll alone. Preferably, it'd be both.

The awful, pixelated, and completely unrealistic cockpit reflections in the Su-25(A) and Su-25T have bothered a lot of people including myself, so I went ahead and fixed it. Here's the Su-25 (Su-25"A" to avoid confusion): Here's the file: Su-25A reflection fix.zip And here's the Su-25T: Here's the file: Su-25T reflection fix.zip Installation instructions for both files: Drag the "mods" folder in the archive to your DCS installation directory. Enjoy being able to clearly see through the cockpit glass!

Kneeboards on pilot model is important for successful and immersive missions. Stopping you from leaving gameplay looking for radio frequencies or waypoints. I would like to see an improved resolution mostly from a VR standpoint, and maybe more available file types. I would also like to see the kneeboard to include mouse clickable controls and option to include a kneeboard on both pilot legs for those large missions. thanks

Hi friends! I want to know if is there any place to share projects to build in home? I am also working in a force feedback control with 775 dc motors, arduino and optical encoder. you can see a planetary to colect three motors torque in the image above The flight control project will contemplate, ailerons and elevators controls, also rudder.

F/A-18C Steam Version. Pre v 2.7 (2.5x Stable) Clickable Cockpit fully functional running non-native monitor resolution, with "Full Screen" button NOT selected. Native resolution 3840 x 2160 (non 4K) Game Resolution 2560 x 1440 System : I7 / 32gb GTX 1080 Windows 10 With 2.7 Beta Mouse function no longer occurs in the cockpit. F10 remains clickable. Cursor remains as yellow + This is happening in the Mission Editor, in SP Mission mode and in self-hosted MP server mode, on both Caucasus and PG maps. My Work-around Changed my monitor resolution to 2560 x 1440 to match the game - problem solved. This is not ideal. Clearly this is a low - priority concern but it would be nice to turn my monitors back up Thanks eTrout

Hello DCS Team, Would you consider creating an in-game menu item to let users set the telemetry and knob status information IP address that is sent via UDP. Would help the cockpit and app builders a lot. This is the same like in other simulators like F1 2021, Project Cars etc... An easily accessible struct def included also would be nice. Thanks!

Hi, I'm really enjoying the Anton at the moment. Part of the joy of flying in VR is having the ability to turn on the pilot body in cockpit. Despite trying with the default key and even changing it to another, no pilot seems to appear. Has the Anton still not got a pilot model? Thanks
